Project Proposal in IS311–System Analysis and
Design

Project Title: Montessori Heights Christian School-Management Information System

Project Objectives:

General:
To be able to design, create, develop and implement a Management Information System for Montessori
Heights Christian School.

Specific:
1. To develop a MIS “Management Information System” that will be used for the transactions of
the Montessori Heights Christian School.
2. To develop a module that will be used for manipulating, keeping and storing the entire school
and student’s information.
3. To be able to record the school and student’s details and information.
4. To update the payment infomation of students bills.
5. To implement a module to generates or show a updated information of students.
6. To monitor student’s unpaid balances.

Scope:
1. The System Administrator is the one manipulate the system.
2. The assigned personnel could only input details.
3. Payment can only be input and change once printed receipt of student are paid to the cashier.

Limitation:
System can’t use any advance access method such as biometrics or card reader.

System Features:
1. All balances of unpaid student will be detected and monitored.
2. System allows printing for a report, receipt and printed document copy.
