Project - What am I

GRASP
Goal To create a masterpiece that represents yourself, introducing who you are to the newly -
meeting students and teachers.

Role New Freshmen are endeavoring to introduce themselves and build new friendships based
on their common interests through the masterpieces they created.

Audience Newly - met teachers and students who are unfamiliar to each others

Situation You are creating your personal masterpiece that introduces your personality, interests, and
your ideology. ​(Independent Thinker)

You are hoping that your masterpieces will aid you to establish great relationships with new
peers and continue to communicate with them through consistently sharing the common
interests.

Product You will choose to create one masterpiece from the group of:

- Art: ​Create an artwork that best represents who you are and your feelings and
thoughts

- Music: ​Create a music that expresses your mood or thoughts that could introduce to
others who you are

- Debate: ​The member of the debate group will prepare a speech that effectively
introduces themselves to others. + choose a topic and have the discussion after the
introduction ends(Each students should have minimum 3 claim and 3 rebuttals
prepared)

- Game: ​The member of the game group will choose the game to play and introduce
themselves through the game character that he/she chose

- Sport: ​The member of the sports group will choose the sport to play and utilize the
different techniques of the sports to introduce who they are.

- Computer: ​The member of the computer group will introduce themselves using
different computer languages

- Car: ​The member of the car group will introduce themselves through using the car
parts/brands/models

Each group will be limited to 10 people and you will be placed on the group based on your
1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice.
After the introductions are done, you are required to have a discussion regarding the topic
of your group or continue on your group’s activity (ex. continue drawing/continue
basketball/continue decoding computer) while consistently exchanging feedback or advice
on each others’ products.

Then, You are required to write two reflections:


(12 font, 1.15 spacing, at least 5 sentences)

1. Reflection regarding the production of your masterpiece answering the following


questions:
a. What were the characteristics your masterpiece introduced about yourself?
b. How did the masterpiece introduce yourself?
c. Steps for your production
d. Your masterpiece’s strength
e. Your masterpiece’s weakness
f. If you were to make it again, what you would like to fix?

2. Reflection after introducing yourself to the group and sharing the interests
a. How did you feel after introducing yourself?
b. What did you learn from your classmate?
c. Do you believe that you build positive relationships with your peers?
d. What types of discussions/ feedbacks you shared with your peers?
e. What did you enjoy the most and hated the most about this project?
f. Are you looking forward to this school year?

*Note that this is a summer assignment and students are required to prepare for those
assignments during the summer break.

* The first week of school will be spent preparing and holding this project.

* However, this project will not be included to the grade to give less burden to the students
while poor quality efforts will affect your dragon score.
