Existing Process
1. Creation of Project using CJ20N

2. Enter Project Code ie Project Number & Description

3. Select Correct Project Profile.

4. Select Person Responsible Number.

5. Slect Plant for that Project.

6. Enter the Start Date Of the Project.

7. Save the Project.

8. Project Number gets Generated.

9. Create List of WBS Using Upload Programe (ZPS_WBS_UPLOAD )

10. Create List of Activity Using Upload Programe (ZPS_ACT_UPLOAD)

11. Reopen The Project using CJ20N to check the Project.

12. Set the Correct User Status for Planing & Budgeting till Execution for Process Completion.

13. Doing Cost Planning Using CJ40.

14. Check Report S_ALR_87013533 for Cost Planning done Using CJ40.

15. Doing Budgeting Using CJ30.

16. Releasing Budget Using CJ32.

17. Display Release Budget Using CJ31.

18. Create PR from the Project.

19. Check Report S_ALR_87013533 or CJI5 for Commitment Cost.

20. Create PO from PR.

21. Do GR and bring material to Project Stock on WBS.

22. Create Sales Order (SO)

23. Do PGI and Invoicing.

24. Finally Settlement and Project Closure.


Inputs for Process Improvement Of Existing SAP Process
1. Can do scheduling in the Project at activity level.

2. Can keep a track of Project Start and End Date.

3. Can keep a track of Activity Duration and relationships as required depending on what SAP provides
and what suites your business.

4. If Business can provide the Start Date and Duration , system will schedule and will take the End Date
Automatically.

5. Based on business requirement , SAP can keep a track of floating periods or offsets like some festival in
between or some national holiday is falling in the Project Execution Period can be taken care of prior
hand in Project Scheduling.

6. Business can keep a track of PercentageOf Completion of Project Activity during the Project Execution.

7. Business can keep a track if the Project Progress is going smooth or not depending on Activity
Confirmation known as POC ie Percentage Of Completioin in SAP.

8. Planned Start and End Date of Activity and Actual Start and End Date of Activity can be compared and
analysed after 100% confirmation of activity after its completion.

9. Check Report S_ALR_87013558 / CJI5 and CJI3 for various Plan , Budget , Actual , Commitment and Available
Budget.
