Purpose
This course introduces students to basics of the internet, access methods and practical
programming skill using HTML markup language.
Learning outcome
By the end of this course, the student should be able to:
1. Understand fundamental concepts of internet
2. Connect the internet using different browsers and applications
3. Learn concepts of web publishing
Build basic web pages using HTML markup language and web browsers

Assessment
Continuous Assessment– 30% where assignments constitute 10% and continuous assessment
tests constitute 20%
