Being an Eagle does not only come from what

school you attend, but by the person you become.

behind the talon

every student, teacher, administrator, athlete, and
member is a leader, role model, hero, inspiration and
a helping hand.

we go out of our way

to help each other when times are tough. We band
together to help our own in times of need, by giving
back to not only the community but the teachers and
families at our school.

we achieve more
each year and experience things never done before.

we go beyond the expectations

in all things. We set up fundraisers for
#smithstrongchristmas. We run into fires to save
our neighbors. We finish academics and a student
publication at home during a pandemic. We come
together to help a teacher in need.

we are unique
in our own ways with
2,700+ students and
130+ staff members and

to be an
80+ sports and clubs.

we continue to rewrite history

while living through it. We are not only Eagles at
school, we share our determination out in the world.
We are ever changing, but one thing stays constant.
We do what it takes...

moment we stepped foot into Lake Ridge we
became an eagle.
We pushed ourselves harder than ever and
achieved the unachievable. We supported each
other in times of need and reached out to our
communities to share our strength. We
left an impact.
We are forever changing, growing, and adapting
to the world around us. We’ve all gone through
the first day of school, to the stressful late nights,
the long essays written, the winning points in a
game, and all the way to our final goodbyes. We
wrote our own stories.
The place we have come to grow into who we
