Learning Objectives
By the end of this session, the students would be expected to:
 Assess the nutritional requirements for athletes, as well as the importance of nutrition in sports
 Emphasize the importance of proper fueling for exercise, pre- and post-workout
 Outline the sports nutrition guidelines for athletes and an active lifestyle including training, pre-event or
exercise, hydration.
 Develop a diet plan for Sports person
 Design and develop an innovative sports product for athletes
