Mga Bilang 6:25

Kahabagan ka nawa at subaybayan ni

Yahweh

(May the Lord smile on you…)

Mga Awit 119:135

Sa buhay ko’y tumanglaw ka at ako ay

pagpalain, at ang iyong mga utos ay
ituro mo sa akin.
(Smile on me, your servant; teach me
the right way to live.)
The smile of God is the
goal of your life
The Bible gives us a
clear example of a life
that gives pleasure to
God.
The man’s
name was
Noah.
In Noah’s day, the
entire world had become
morally bankrupt.
Everyone lived for
their own pleasure, not
God’s.
God became so disgusted
with the human race
that he considered
wiping it out. But
there was one man who
made God smile.
Genesis 6:8

Ngunit si Noeh ay nagging kalugod-

lugod kay Yahweh
(Noah was a pleasure to the Lord)
Because Noah brought
pleasure to God, you
and I are alive today.
From Noah’s life we
learn the Five acts of
worship that make God
smile:
Noah loved God more
than anything else in
the world, even when no
one else did.
Marcos 12:30

At iibigin mo ang Panginoon mong

Dios ng buong puso mo, at ng buong
kaluluwa mo, at ng buong pagiisip
mo, at ng buong lakas mo.
The second reason Noah
pleased God was that he
trusted God, even when
it didn’t make sense.
Mga Hebreo 11:7

Dahil sa pananampalataya,
pinakinggan ni Noe ang babala ng
Diyos tungkol sa mga bagay na
mangyayari ngunit hindi pa niya
nakikita. Gumawa siya ng isang
malaking barko upang siya at ang
kanyang pamilya ay maligtas.
God didn’t say to Noah,
“ Build any old boat
you’d like,Noah.”
God gave very detailed
instructions as to the
size, shape, and
materials of the ark as
well as the different
number of animals to be
brought on board.
Genesis 6:22

At ginawa nga ni Noe ang lahat ng

iniutos sa kanya ng Diyos.
God doesn’t owe you an
explanation or reason for
everything he asks you to
do.
UNDERSTANDING can wait,
but OBEDIENCE cant.
You will never understand
some commands until you
obey them first.
OBEDIENCE unlocks
UNDERSTANDING.
Noah’s first act after
surviving the Flood was
to express his thanks
to God by offering a
sacrifice.
Genesis 8:20

Si Noe ay nagtayo ng altar para kay

Yahweh. Kumuha siya ng isa sa bawat
malinis na hayop at ibon, at sinunog
bilang handog.
An amazing thing
happens when we offer
praise and thanksgiving
to God. When we give
God enjoyment, our own
hearts are filled with
joy.
After the Flood, God
gave Noah these simple
instructions:
Genesis 9:1
God said, “ Its time to
get on with your life! Do
the things I designed
humans to do. Make love
to your spouse. Have
babies. Raise families.
Plant crops and eat
meals. Be Humans! This is
what I made you to be.”
Every human activity,
except sin, can be done
for God’s pleasure if
you do it with an
attitude of praise.
Eric Liddel

“I believe God made me

for a purpose, but he
also made me fast, and
when I run, I feel
God’s pleasure.”

“To give up on running

would be to hold him in
contempt.”

There are no

Start using yours for

God’s pleasure.
When you live in light
of eternity, your focus
changes from
“How much pleasure am I
getting out of my life?”
to
“How much pleasure is
God getting in my life?”
