Answer
The COVID-19 issue has not been a major problem for our project because our job can be managed remotely
(code programming and administrative tasks). We usually use an agile methodology that allows us to continue
working more efficiently under this type of situation and it is worth mentioning that we count with the technological
means to fulfill our daily activities. At this moment we are in the process of hiring new staff, but this has been
delayed by the internal changes in the HR department.

The COVID-19 pandemic situation has an impact on communication and engagement with the key stakeholders
and organizing training and workshops of the USDA funded project in Colombia, Kenya, and Vietnam. This COVID-
19 condition has also affected the execution of farmers' surveys for an impact study of agricultural carbon credit
projects in Kenya. Soil Carbon Finance workshop planned to organize in March was canceled with some cost
implications. This workshop is going to be organized virtually. This project already notified USDA, USAID, and
Dutch funding about the impacts of COVID-19 on the project activities.
Our project processes confirm planning and this year's deliverables will not be effected by COVID-19. This is due
to the fact that we established during the previous years strong partnerships with OLAM, Friesland Campina,
Bayer, and other partners with often local representations in our target countries. Via those partnership data will be
collected and outcomes of our project be disseminated.
