I am Anju Paudel going to talk about the introduction of the project and its objectives with its stakeholders associated with project. Talking about the description of project, our company Access Engineering and Research Consult is going to construct the earthquake resistant building in the Ramkot, Kathmandu, Nepal for client Mr. Krishna Shrestha. In past, Nepal was hit by earthquake with 7.8 Richter scale with massive loss of property and peoples live. Nepal is one of the earthquake-prone countries………lying in active seismic zone V where Ramkot lies in one of the vulnerable areas of Kathmandu Valley. The objectives of our project is to construct earthquake resistant RCC residental 3 storey building with servicability upto 50 years design period in Ramkot. It is also required to complete the project within the estimated time and budget of 319 days and 432,000 AUD(four hundred and thirty two thousand australian dollar) by identifying the risks associated with construction of building and its mitigation. While moving to another slide, our company have been working for last 10 years in the field of construction works with Experienced consultants, engineers, economic and environmental analysts, construction workers and have enough equipment tools required in construction. The project cannot be successfully completed without identification of the stakeholders related to project direclty or indirectly. The different stakeholders are Client, Contractor, Sub-contractor & Municipality. Client provides his design requirements to project manager and funds the project. Contractor includes Project Manger, Designersa and Engineer, site supervisor where project Manager acts as a a bridge between all the stakeholders and their activities providing communication channel between them. He is also responsible for collecting feedbacks and monitoring project activities. While Designers and Engineers are responsible for the preparation of architectural drawing, structural drawing, cost estimation and structural analysis of the building.Construction Manager allocates the workers and resources according to the tasks and Site supervisors is responsible for the supervision of the quality of materials and time. Sub-contractors include secondary contractors for sanitary works, electrical works, flooring works, and painting works.Nagarjun municipality check and approves the maps of building. They also inspect the structure whether it is in accordance with the National Building Code.
