Product Use
The 7000 Series B1 filter is used for protection against type B toxic gases according to the EN 141:2000 standard (i.e.
organic gases and vapours).
This filter is used in pairs, with a Sperian 7000 Series half-mask.
The half-mask and two B1 filters set must only be used when the toxic concentration meets the standards for the type of
filter used, i.e. when it is below 50 x TLV.
(TLV= MEV for 8 hours of work or ELV for 15 minutes of work)
(cf. INRS document ed. 780 “Respiratory protection devices”).

They can only be used in sufficiently ventilated premises where the atmosphere contains a minimum
oxygen volume of 17 %.

CHARACTERISTICS :
- Lightweight and resistant plastic housing
- Does not obstruct the field of vision
- 3 point bayonet connection to the Sperian half-mask, ensuring a reliable connection and an excellent seal
- Activated and impregnated coconut carbon

- Chlorine Cl2
- Hydrogen Sulphide H2S
- Hydrogen cyanide HCN
- The concentration by volume of the test gas is 0.1%
- The tested air flow is 30 litres per minute
- Minimum duration required before "breakdown":
Cl2 20 min.
H2S 40 min.
HCN 25 min.
