BRIEF HISTORY OF ICYF

The Ike-Oluwa Community Youth Forum (ICYF) is originated from Ike-Oluwa

landlords and landladies Association. As at the time the forum was formed,

it was then landlords/landladies association and chieftaincy being controlled.

In December 13th, 2018 when ICITP IHRSM Comrade Oyesola, Adetoyese

Oluwatobi came back from NYSC; he met with all the members of chieftaincy

from Baale Alikidamu Akinborola through Iyalode of Ike-Oluwa Community

with the president, chairman and vice chairman of Ike-Oluwa landlords/

landladies association in respect of F. Yusuf Aare, Pa. Wole Olarinde Lawrence

and Mr. Nurudeen Adeniran Aderemi with some Elders in the community and

shared his vision with them. He was encouraged and counseled to organize the

Youth of the Community (both landlord and tenants). This Youth members

organized by Comrade Oluwatobi A.O started there first meeting at Pa.

Oyesola Oladoye’s compound which comprises of all the landlord and Tenants

Youth of the community. They meet by 5:00 prompt on every Sunday.

However, before the inauguration of Baale Akinborola on Tuesday of May

14th 2019, several Group has tried to raise this forum but, there is always cast down.

This forum came to existence through Comrade Oluwatobi A.O on Sunday march 3rd, 2019.

Moreover, letter of Youth forum existence was forwarded to

Ike-Oluwa landlords/landladies association; this was approved on

13th February, 2020.
