forecasting.

B. LESSON PROPER
Day 1
- Ask the students if they know and where did they usually see that person.
- Discuss what is weather.
- Explain the different weather elements.
- Seatwork ( 10 items )
Day 2
- Present different pictures of clouds and let the students differentiate it.
- Discuss the different types of clouds.
- Ask the students to create different types of clouds using cotton balls and paint and
then discuss their output in front of the class.
Day 3
- Present different pictures of weather instruments and ask the students if they know
how and where to use it.
- Explain the purpose and how to use the different weather instruments.
- Divide them into 6 groups and ask them to make 1 weather instrument.
Day 4
- Ask the students if they know what is PAGASA.
- Show them different pictures of weather forecaster and ask them if they know those
person.
- Discuss what is weather forecasting, the importance of it and different safety
precautions during different weather conditions.
- Divide them into 7 groups and ask them to make a short skit showing the do’s and
dont’s .

- Ask the students to complete the concept map by discussing the different
characteristics that best describe the sun.
Day 2
- Show them different pictures of useful effect of the sun to us.
- Ask the students to describe each pictures.
- Explain the importance of the sun.

- Show them different pictures of precautionary measures against the harmful effects of
the sun.
- Ask the students to describe each pictures.
- Discuss the different precautionary measures against the harmful effects of the Sun.

Motivation: Jigsaw puzzle. Divide the students into groups. Each group will have a puzzle that they
need to arrange.
B. LESSON PROPER
- Instruct the students to solve the puzzle, after they solved it, they will post their work on the
board.
- The teacher will ask the following questions:
1. Are you familiar with those objects?
2. How and when we usually use that objects? In what particular time?
- The teacher will ask the students to get their jigsaw puzzle and have a brainstorming on how
they will use that object in a particular weather condition.
- The teacher will ask them to create a short drama that shows how they will practice those safety
precautions.
