DIGNITY OF LIFE
1. Abortion. No matter what- the planned parenthood Project.
The video shows that the Planned Parenthood Project is a business that caters
abortion. Instead of encouraging the woman or youth to deliver the baby and
offer every help they could do to help them, they would always push to abort the
child since the “counseling” needs to reach their quota. I think that is an absorb
kind of business. How could they do that to a baby? If they cannot raise the baby
then they can put the baby for adoption. For me, abortion is never an option.
2. How “the pill” works as an Abortifacient.
There are two pills you have to take to abort a child. One is mifepristone, a pill
that will stops the pregnancy from growing. And the second one is the
misoprostol, a pill that needs to take right away after taking the first pill. I
honestly don’t understand why they would need to abort the child. A pill is
supposed to be use as a medicine for irregular or heavy periods. It should not be
used as a medicine to abort a child. A child’s life is so important because we
don’t know what that child might become in the future. Like what Jose Rizal said
“ Kabataan ang pas-asa ng bayan”.
3. How can you be a Carolinian Missionary in your own little way?
A Carolinian imparts virtues that would make the world a better place to live. As
a Carolinian what I could do is to start with myself by being knowledgeable about
this kind of topic. Like what our vision-mission statement states “ what we know,
we apply justly and honestly. What we do not know, we seek to learn. What we
have, we share. What we do not have, we endeavor to acquire.” By following
the University’s Mission-vision, we impart in our life a true a Carolinian spirit.
