Abstract

The aim and objective of this essay are to assess and determine how gun programs are

beneficial to the society. Its main scope of focus is identifying the advantage and positive

implications of having gun control policies as part of the regulation. This will be in the fields of

security for the individuals and the society, increased terror attacks and crime levels, homicides

and suicide reports. The essay will try to refute the critics calling for gun control on the bases of

the above scopes and areas of assessment. The article will also focus on describing and

explaining the advantages and positive implications of having the gun control policies in effect

and working. This will have the essay narrowing down to individual security as well as that of

the society, personal freedom to own and use rifles for sporting and leisure activities as well as

upholding people's privacy to property ownership.

This piece is significant as it will assist in evaluating the impact of the government on gun
