Introduction:
Gun control policy refers to a bill that would ensure a stricter and more stringent
regulation of firearms regarding ownership, acquiring, possession and use. It would provide the
formation of law on regulating licensing guns for use by citizens who are not in the forces.
Thesis: In the modern world people have gained a lot of freedom and liberty regarding privacy
and activities they do including gun possessions and rifle use. Gun policy has, therefore, become
an essential aspect of the current society with its implementation regulating the ownership and
use of firearms. In this paper, we shall contend that Gun Policy is essential and beneficial taking
into consideration the various significant impacts that are realized through it. These include
reduced homicides and suicides, minimized violent crimes and terror attacks.
