Their article mainly focused on death tolls that are mostly brought about by firearms. In

their research, they noted rapid increase in the number of deaths under gunshots. This was in

criminal activities, homicides, terror attacks as well as suicidal acts.

the gun control regulatory measures in curbing preventable deaths by a bullet. It is also

significant in determining the useful initiatives that will ensure both the empirical and practical

positive implications are realized for the betterment of the community.

philosophy. In his essay, he mainly focuses on homicides and terror attacks. He notes that there

are numerous reports of killings and gun-related terror attacks which claim lives of many

innocent lives. In his support for gun control measures, he draws attention and blames the

unregulated gun ownership by people for such acts. He also focuses on the type of guns owned

by individuals under the disguise of leisure. Such weapons can be lethal and risky when in the

wrong hands. This article is therefore essential in the evaluation of the impacts and likely effects

of having lethal and dangerous weapons. The report can help in evaluating the positive

Gun Policy Advocacy

Outline

Paper Title: Gun Policy Advocacy.

Introduction:

Gun control policy refers to a bill that would ensure a stricter and more stringent

regulation of firearms regarding ownership, acquiring, possession and use. It would provide the

formation of law on regulating licensing guns for use by citizens who are not in the forces.

Thesis: In the modern world people have gained a lot of freedom and liberty regarding privacy

and activities they do including gun possessions and rifle use. Gun policy has, therefore, become

an essential aspect of the current society with its implementation regulating the ownership and

use of firearms. In this paper, we shall contend that Gun Policy is essential and beneficial taking

into consideration the various significant impacts that are realized through it. These include

reduced homicides and suicides, minimized violent crimes and terror attacks.

I. Homicides and Suicides

A. Most murders are executed using guns. Through gun policy, the number of homicides is

likely to go down.

B. It is reported that most suicides are done by the use of a bullet where people shot

themselves, and thus, the policy would come in handy to curbing this problem.

II. Reduced Violent Crimes

A. Most of the break-ins, robberies, and hi-jacks are done at gunpoint. The policy would

help control such menaces by controlling the number and use of firearms owned by

people.

B. The Munich attack, for example, was executed by terrors using guns. Through the gun

policy, it is easier to identify the rifles used and their owners. This can help in coping

with such likely catastrophes thus avoiding mass murders of innocent lives.

Conclusion

From the precedent, it is clear that gun policy can help in reducing most crimes and

killings that are reportedly done using guns. This also summarizes that it is significant licensing

firearms for a peaceful and healthy society.
