Procurement and Construction (EPC) Basis Contract–Regarding Change Of Scope proposal for Four
Lane Carraigeway.

Sir,
As per letter in reference no. (6) the change of scope proposal for Four lane is review by this office
the detail for the length of 2.725 km is as followed.
1.Damarkheda to Toll Plaza=1.215km in length
Which is two lane as per scope. For this 1.215 km being two lane may convert a
accident zone in future for traffic. Also at toll plaza the traffic is not only coming from
Nandurbar but highly potential increase from Ankaleshwar highway(State:Gujraat). So
particularly from Damarkheda which is 4 lane as per scope and then it is 2 Lane for the length
of 1.215 km up to Toll plaza which need to change in 4 lane carriageway.
2.Lonkheda to College Gate=1.000km in length
The Four Lane section for Lonkheda village as per scope starts from Ch.82.000 to
Ch.82.900 for the length of 900m, as next to this four lane section there is Engineering and
other streams of colleges at both side of Main Carriageway. Also there is heavy traffic loading
at Cotton meal which is situated at Ch.83.120 On left side of Main Carriageway.Also there is
highly potential increase towards Khetia(State:-Madhya Pradesh) for cotton market and
trading.
In view of above and as per traffic safety and pedestrian safety consideration there is
need to Change this two lane carriageway into Four Lane Carriageway from Ch.82.900 to

3.Khed Digar=0.510km in length
As the village is situated at Ch.98.150 to Ch.98.740 as per scope there is Two lane
Section in main carriageway. Kindly checked this office letter no.Dhruv/Kolde-Khetia/2018-
19/AE/Four Lane/248 on dated 06.01.2019 which is attached herewith.
As this is last village of Maharashtra state border. In view of high potential of heavy
migrating vehicular traffic consisting Sugar cane trucks and cotton trucks there may be
congestion in traffic so as to avoid this situation there is need to change in 4 lane carriageway.

So considering all the detail comparative chart of scope/work done/change of scope is

attach herewith.
