Getting Started with AWS Training and Certification

Thank you for your interest in enrolling into AWS Free Digital Training. There are just a few more steps left
to get started with a course or exam built by the experts at AWS:

How to Register?
• Register for the course here at: AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials (Second Edition)
• You’d be re-directed to the below screen. Click on Sign In

• If you already have an Amazon account then Sign-in using your existing account, else
create a new Amazon account.

• Once you have created a new account/logged-in using your existing account, click on
the Register button on the top right of your screen.
• As soon as you register for the session, you would see 9 modules varying from 2
minutes to 100 minutes in duration. Refer screen-shot below:
How to start your training?
• Starting from Top, Launch each of the 9 modules and move from one module to
another only after completing the previous module.
• As soon as you launch a module, you’d see a new “In-progress” button until you
complete that particular module.

• Study all videos and do the knowledge check there and there itself. ( Knowledge
check is mandatory to complete the module)

• Please note that you do not have to complete any/all modules in one-go. You can
close the window and resume from where you stopped again any-time.
• You will receive a certificate of course completion for all 9 modules (A certificate
should look below image).
How to download your certificates?
• Click on my account and go to “Transcripts”.
 • You can see the status of each module and download the certificate from there. You
will also receive an email right after completing the module.
• Click on Completion Certificate which will open the certificate in another TAB where
you can see your certificate.
• Now in order to save certificate as PDF Hold CTRL + P and select destination “Save as
PDF” this will save your certificate in PDF format. ( Please check below image for
reference)
