Layered Rice Pilaf in a Jar

Made especially for you by the Bouchea’s


Merry Christmas 2011

Ingredients:
2 tsp. Chicken bouillon granules
¼ tsp. Salt and Pepper (each)
1¼ cups Converted long grain rice
½ Dried fruit bits (SunMaid Dried Fruit Bits on the isle with raisins in store)
¼ Slivered almonds (optional)

Directions:
1. Place contents of jar in a pot with 3 ¼ cups of water and ¼ stick of butter
2. Cover and bring to a boil
3. Reduce heat and simmer, covered for 20 minutes.
4. Enjoy!
