SAP Production Connection

1. If you don’t have the SAP front end logon pad, please get in touch with IS and install this
in your system.

2. Click open SAP logon pad and Select Connection folder in the “SAP Logon 740” screen as
seen below

3. Click New connection icon

4. Click Next button as shown below

5. Fill the System Connection Parameters

Description Production (RP1)

Application Server inblr-v-rp1.in.abb.com
Instance Number 01
System ID RP1

6. Click Finish

7. User must see the Production Connection

8. Double click Production (RP1) seen in the above screen, you will be taken to the login
screen, here users are required to generate a first-time password.

9. Copy the link highlighted below and paste it into a browser (if IE is not working try other
browsers) and press enter
10. Click on PROD link and provide your Employee ID and Email ID and Submit, system will
send a first time password to your email id
11. Go to your mail box and copy the password without spaces/extra characters

12. Go back to the Loging page and Enter your employee id and the above copied password
and press enter.

13. System will prompt user to change password, change your password as seen below and
click on the tick button
 Click ok tick below

14. System will take you to the SAP Easy Access screen
15. Type CAT2 in the T-Code and press enter, user will be taken to the CATS time entry
screen
