THREE WAY CHANGE OVER VALVES
“VALTECH” robust design Three-way change over Valves with safety gland packing in
flange design is manufactured with reference standard BS-1873 and can be supplied in
Carbon Steel (ASTM-A-216 Gr. WCB), Stainless Steel (ASTM-A-351 Gr. CF8M/CF8/CF3/CF3M)
and low temperature steel or any other material as per requirement.
USES
”VALTECH” change-over valves allows essential maintenance work to be carried out on a

safety valve, without interruption of the plant operation, simply by changing over to the
relevant stand by valve, thus protecting the plant against excessive overpressure.Plants
are protected against undue excess pressure by switching over to the relevant standby
safety valves. Full blow off capacity is maintained when the change-over-valve switches
over from one side to the other. When using change-over-valves in tandem, both hand
wheels are linked via a chain wheel in order to assure simultaneous operation.

l Extremely low resistance coefficients due to optimal flow deflection. On account of this
safety valves can be combined to the greatest extent with change-over-valves of the
same nominal size

“VALTECH” wafer design, BUTTERFLY VALVES are designed and manufactured with
reference to standard API 609 for Pipelines 40NB and above. They are available in
Wafer design sandwich type as well as Flanged ends. If required, Valves can be
offered under any THIRD PARTY INSPECTION .
“VALTECH” BUTTERFLY VALVES are available in various materials like Conforming to

Cast Iron with SG Iron Disc and Nitrile Sleeve, Cast Carbon Steel ASTM-A-216 Gr. WCB,
Cast Alloy Steel like ASTM-A-217 Gr. WC-6 / WC-9; and Cast Stainless Steel like ASTM-

NON SLAM CHECK VALVE
“VALTECH” Non Slam Check Valve is a general purpose check Valve that are
stronger, lighter and smaller than conventional Swing Check valves and therefore,
less expensive to install and maintain. Non Slam Check Valves are designed and
manufactured with reference to standard API 604 for Pipelines up to 150 NB. They
are made to fit between two flanges. If required, Valves can be offered under any
THIRD PARTY INSPECTION.

CHECK VALVE (WAFER TYPE)

ACCESSORIES
Auxiliary gearing is often desirable to facilitate the operation of large sizes of

valves required to close against high pressure. Certain sizes of Actuator
operated valves where high torque is involved in operating the valve are
provided with a gear box in betweeen the valve and the Actuator. This
arrangement will avoid using high torque Actuator and thereby, reduce the cost
of Actuator. Valtech provides fully enclosed light weight and maintainance free
gear box.
Inquiries or order for valves with gear box should furnish the following
l Service media, pressure and temperature

l Maximum pressure against which, the valve must close
ChainWheel and Chain
Valtech provides valves with ChainWheel and Chain with a guide to facilitate
easy operation of valves in overhead or inaccessible locations.
Electric Motor Actuator
Valves which need to be opened and closed from a control room in a stipulated
time are actuated with Electric Motor Actuators.
Inquiries or order for valves with Electric Motor Actuator should furnish the
following
l Service media, pressure and temperature

l Maximum pressure against which, the valve must close
l Desired stem speed or closing time
l Frequency of operation
l Type of Actuator
l Voltage and Frequency
l Special Class of insulation
l Water Proof of Explosion Proof
By Pass
All bigger sizee and high pressure valve will be provided with bypass
arrangement. The bypass arrangement contains a Globe Valve having pressure
rating minimum that of the main valve. The Globe valve and pipe material will be
equal to that of the main valve.

Dash Pot
For high velocity or turbulent flow in Swing Check Valves, the disc moment is
controlled by a dash spot arrangement connected to the mainshaft of Swing
Check Valve. This will avoid disc ramming the seat ring while in operation.
Lock Open or Close
When valves are to be kept open or closed on the line, valves will be provided
with a locking arrangement, to avoid mishandling of valve.
Extended Spindle with Floor Stand
Valves which are to be operated from a certain height from the floor are
provided with an extended spindle with floor stand.
