The papers published by various authors and journalists show that the present
government — the administration of Duterte has good and bad points. Most of the papers
reported were last year's achievements. The papers tell us what problems are focused on by the
present government. The present government has already shown on the favorable side that they
are not just words, so they are doing action. It is really good to know that other areas are
improving. In neutral articles, indicates the good and negative point of view of the topic just like
the ‘MRT-7 completion to be delayed to 2022’ Upon completion of this project, it will be helpful
for commuters, but notice how it caused heavy traffic in Metro Manila in many fields. Even if it's
going to be good for the future, it offers other things bad effects, that's why it was sorted from a
neutral point of view. As far as adverse sides are concerned, there are still so many public faults,
particularly as far as corruption and untrustworthy politicians are concerned. It's sad to know that
corruption and crimes are still high as part of this country. As I notice, the government is
focusing on drugs warfare, leading in many extrajudicial killings. The worst side is that there are
some people who are part of the government who operate drugs in this country and all the
Filipinos wonder why this type of problem is not yet solved because some are the head of all the
bad operations

The articles written by different authors and journalist shows that there are good and bad
points in the current government--Duterte’s administration. Most of the articles stated were
the accomplishments for the past year. The articles are telling us what issues do the current
government focuses on. In the positive side, the current government already showed that they
are not just words, hence they do action. It is actually great to know that there are
improvement in other fields. For the neutral viewpoint, it is more on about the government
projects. Example is the building of the MRT Line7. It will be convenient to commuters/ Filipinos
when this project is finished, but notice how it caused heavy traffics in many areas in Metro
Manila. Even though it will be good for the future, it gives bad impacts to other things, that’s
why it was sorted in the neutral viewpoint.
There’s a lot of flaws in the current government especially to the president itself. The current
administration still involves corruption and untrustworthy politicians. As I notice, the
government focuses on the war on drugs, resulting to many extrajudicial killings. One article
also stated that a plunderer was acquitted, and to make it funny, the government allowed him
to run for the senate.
