INSTRUCTION TO THE CANDIDATE

1. The Candidates are provisionally allowed to appear in the test based on the informa on submi ed by them without verifying their personal
details viz. age, qualifica on, category etc. Before appearing for the CBT, they must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria s pulated by
DSE Odisha in all respects. If at any stage of the recruitment/selec on process or even a er selec on, it is found that any candidate is not
eligible in terms of the no fied eligibility criteria, the candidature/appointment of the candidate will be cancelled without giving any reason
/ or prior no ce.
2. The candidates are required to bring this Admit Card affixed thereon a Photograph, similar to the one uploaded in the applica on form.
3. The candidates must bring a current & valid photo iden ty proof in original. Please note that candidate’s name as appearing on the Admit
Card (provided by them during the process of registra on) should match exactly with the name appearing on their photo iden ty proof.
Female candidates who have changed their first / last / middle name a er marriage must take special note of this. If there is any mismatch
between the names indicated in the Admit Card and Photo Iden ty Proof, they will not be allowed to appear for the Test. The candidates,
who have changed their names will be allowed only if they produce Gaze e no fica on/their marriage cer ficate /affidavit.
4. The Candidates will have to report in the test centre 60 minutes before the start of the Test. Candidates will neither be allowed to enter the
Venue a er the Gate Closure Time (10 Minutes before Test starts) nor permi ed to leave before comple on of the Test.
5. The PWD candidates are required to produce original cer ficate of disability for verifica on and submit one photo copy of the same to
Invigilator at Test Center before appearing for the examina on.
6. The Test will be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Candidates will have to enter their Applica on No. as Login ID and
Date of Birth as Password to enter the Test module. Before star ng the Test, the candidates must ensure that their Names and other details,
which appear on their individual screens, are correct.Thanking You
7. In the CBT, there will be 150 ques ons of one mark each and the dura on of exam will be 150 minutes. There will be 0.25 nega ve mark for
wrong answer in the Test.
8. Use of books, notebooks, calculators, watch, pagers, mobile phones, headphones, Bluetooth headphones etc. are not permi ed in this test.
Candidates are advised not to bring any of the aforemen oned banned items to the venue of test as safety arrangement for
keeping/deposi on of the same cannot be assured.
9. Any candidate found resor ng to any unfair means or malprac ce or any misconduct while appearing for the test including giving/receiving
help to/from any candidate/outsider during the test will be disqualified. Candidates should be vigilant to ensure that no other candidate can
copy/see their answers.
10. The responses (answers) of a candidate will be analyzed with other candidates to detect pa erns of similarity of right and wrong answers. If
in the analy cal procedure adopted in this regard, it is inferred/concluded that the responses have been shared and scores obtained are not
genuine/valid, the candidature of the candidate may be cancelled and/or the result withheld.
11. Anyone found to be disclosing, publishing, reproducing, transmi ng, storing or facilita ng transmission and storage of test contents in any
form or any informa on therein in whole or part thereof or by any means verbal or wri en, electronic or mechanical or taking away the
papers supplied in the test hall or found to be in unauthorized possession of test content is likely to be prosecuted.
12. The possibility of occurrence of some problem in the administra on of the test cannot be ruled out completely which may impact test
delivery and/or result from being generated. In that event, every effort will be made to rec fy such problem, which may include movement
of candidates, delay in test. Conduct of re-test is at the absolute discre on of test conduc ng body. Candidates will not have any claim for re-
test. Candidates, not willing to move or not willing to par cipate in the delayed process of test delivery, shall be summarily disqualified from
the selec on process.
13. No request for change of test centre/venue or date of test shall be entertained.
14. No Travelling Expenses will be paid to any candidate for appearing in the CBT.
15. Receipt of this Admit Card for the Computer Based Test (CBT) does not cons tute an offer for employment from DSE Odisha.
16. Canvassing, in any manner, by or on behalf of the candidates or any other outside influence with regard to their selec on/recruitment shall
be considered as DISQUALIFICATION.
