1. Why did you choose this topic?

A: I chose this topic because this is a relevant topic in the country's current
educational situation. English learning has become more in demand than before
especially in the kindergarten level. This industry is getting bigger and bigger as
more private language schools open and more parents are sending their children to
these schools to learn English. Like any other industry, English learning in the
kindergarten level has its own problems and that's why Im interested in identifying
these problems and how they should be addressed.

2. Briefly, explain what your research is all about.

A: This research aims to identify the current problems of English learning in the
kindergarten level and provide solutions to these problems. Also, this study
explores the background of Kindergarten education in the country, which includes
the current kindergarten education system, a brief history of the introduction of
the English language in the kindergarten level, the current state of the English
curriculum, as well as the commonly used teaching methods by kindergarten teachers.

address key problems in their own institutions in order to design and provide an

policy makers to understand the need of creating an English curriculum standard
that will serve as a guide for public kindergarten teachers to ensure efficient,
effective, and quality English education.
