Q.1. As the Librarian of your organization write a letter claiming compensation for 39 books
which arrived in a damaged condition from a publication house. Provide suitable details
for your acceptance or refusal of the claim. Also, assume the necessary details for the
letter .Use complete block style. [10]

Q.2. At the 9th General Body Meeting of Nixon Electronics Co. Ltd, Moradabad, to be held in
the conference room on 20th March , 2019( at 5p.m.) issues related to the employees such
as revision of D.A, creation of five new positions in Sales, proposal for a recreation
centre, will be discussed. Assuming you are the secretary of the company, write the notice
along with the agenda (six items should be mentioned) and the minutes of the meeting.

Q.3. In modern times, working women are facing problems like sexual harassment, gender
discrimination at the time of promotion, salary fixation etc. You, as the Head of the
Women welfare Association have been asked to write a report on Gender Discrimination
at work Places. Prepare a mail questionnaire to be sent to women professionals working in
various organizations in order to elicit the relevant information. Prepare five multiple
choice (having four alternatives/choices each) and five close ended questions for the
questionnaire. Do not include questions on personal information like age, sex, place etc. in
the questionnaire. [20]
