GREGOR THE OVERLANDER

Gregor the overlander, Gregor was more than an ordinary brave child.
If any one of his age or even older would have passed his
circumstances that person would have gone mad. Nobody could survive
in such a crucial world in the underland. He was accompanied by her
younger sister Boots, she was as courageous as him. She was also a
part of the whole story. The base of the book was that a child and
her very young sister gets into a grate of an AC duct and reaches a
world under the new york city, he wanted to go home but he discovers
that it is not as easy as coming there. He has to face giant spiders,
rats and survive in that deadly place. He also discovered that his
father, who disappeared 2 years 7 months ago, was also trapped
there by the rats that usually ate humans. Then he gets to know that
the person who was the first human there has mentioned him, her
sister and his father in one of his prophecy “the prophecy of gray”
which will determine the unspoken future of regalia. And yes, regalia
is a place where most of the humans in the underland lived. Overall
the book, story theme and the character designing like the cuteness
of Boots, the attitude of Luxa, the skin, cloths, and the way of living
of underlanders different from the ones in the overland was great.
Ya, but at some point of time I wanted to give up the book. Like the
beginning was really boring, I wanted to give up that time. And the
story sometimes really created a good urge of the reader to read it
but the feeling is short lived. The balance was not created between
the theme and the story. I will recommend the book to teenagers.
The story was amazing. It is written by Suzanne Collins who also
wrote a very famous series the hunger games. But this is also a great
book and after this I will read the next part of the underland
chronicles which is the “prophecy of bane”.
