SMOOTHIES

for success JAN 8

Here are 5 of my favorite smoothie recipes to get you stoked for healthy eating! I shared these on Sara Lynn’s
channel, The Domestic Geek for our Smoothie Collaboration video! Be sure to get her recipe PDF on my channel!

½ cup coconut water/milk

1/4 cup oats
1 handful spinach/kale/greens SMOOTHIE TIPS
SUPERFOOD
SMOOTHIE

4 dates, soaked
1 Tbsp Greek yogurt I like to add my liquid, greens & dates
¼ avocado (if applicable) first to make sure there
2 tsp chia seeds aren’t any spinach or date chunks in the
¼ tsp cinnamon final smoothie.
pinch of cayenne
2 ice cubes (if desired) I ALWAYS soak my dates before using
them in smoothies– otherwise sometimes
they just won’t blend well!
GREEN SMOOTHIE
LEAN & SECRETLY

1 handful spinach/kale
1 cup mixed berries, frozen Add less liquid to begin with – it’s easier
½ banana to add more later to get the texture you’re
2 Tbsp Greek yogurt looking for rather than less.
⅓ cup almond milk
¼ tsp cinnamon I prefer to freeze fruit than use ice to
2 tsp monkfruit yield a smoother consistency.

If you choose to add ice, add it in last.

Health wise, I go for whole fruit over fruit

TROPICAL QUINOA

¼ cup cooked quinoa juice. No sense in missing out on that

⅓ cup pineapple, frozen added fiber and nutrition the entire piece
SMOOTHIE

⅓ cup mango, frozen of fruit offers!

½ banana
¼ cup coconut milk Add greens in whenever and wherever
½ tsp vanilla you can! You won’t even notice they’re
2 Tbsp shredded unsweetened coconut there flavor-wise.
1 Tbsp coconut sugar
A great rule of thumb for your procedure:
add your liquids first, then frozen fruit,
powders/add-ins, ice, and then add fresh
fruit last.
1 banana, frozen
GREEN TEA
SMOOTHIE

1 cup honeydew melon

Don’t get overly hung up on following a
¾ cup brewed green tea
recipe. If you don’t have or like certain
1 teaspoon maple syrup (adjust to taste)
ingredients, simply swap them out or
¼ cup almond milk
omit! Add more liquid to get a smoother
⅛ tsp ground ginger
and thinner consistency, and add yogurt,
a banana or oats to thicken.
PUMPKIN PIE

1 cup almond milk

SMOOTHIE

½ cup canned pumpkin purée

1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp honey (adjust to taste)
½ banana, frozen
3 ice cubes
