Computer-Aided Mechanical Designer/Drafter Technician

QUALIFICATIONS
CAD Program Operation- Certified associate level test in Solid Works. Experience
creating bottom-up and top-down assemblies and entry-level FEA analysis. Proficient
usage of Auto-CAD 2D and 3D software to create industry standard drawings.
Standards and ASME Rules- Educated in GD&T rules and techniques as well as
experience using this in multiple projects.
3D Printing/Machining- Successful in slicing and printing projects with various materials
and applications. Experience in operating shop machine equipment such as lathe, milling
machine, CNC router, tig and mig welding, and more.
Mechanical Understanding- Deep understanding of mechanical parts, mechanisms and
systems. Able to modify and fit and improve designs based on tested durability flaws.
Experience in creating templates of various existing systems by taking measurements
and transferring sketches into CAD. Special experience and interest in automotive
mechanics and systems.
File Management- Active in organizing and file management using different styles of
drawing and part numbering systems.
WORK EXPERIENCE
2016-2019 United Postal Service Package Handler- Spokane Valley Main Hub.
Sorted and loaded packages on local delivery trucks.
Worked Monday-Friday from 3:30 AM until 10:00 AM.

EDUCATION
Spokane Community College, Spokane, Washington. A.A.S Degree, CAD Design/MET,
June 2020, Grade Point Average-3.5.
