    x Installcoldcuttingm/contheexistingpipe.
    x KeepacollectingdrumunderthecutwithVacuumTankerhoseincaseofliquid.
    x Uponcompletingthefirstcut,markthesecondlocationconsideringallmeasurementssuch
    as(Flangelength+RF+Gasket)andtoprovide5mmtoaccommodatetheprefabspool.(Refer
    FigͲ1).DonotmarkandstartcoldcuttingatbothlocationsimultaneouslyincaseoftieͲin
    work.
    x Once2ndcutisnearingcompletion,holdthecutpiecefirmlybycranewithwidepropylene
    belttoavoidanymovementofcutpiece.
    x Beforeremovingcutpieces,startpouringwateronbothsidesofthecuttoavoidanyspark
    generationduetometaltometalcontact.
    x Oncethecutpieceisremovedstoppouringwater.
    
    TieͲintoexistingPiping/Pipeline
    x Beforestartofanyhotwork,permittobetakenalongConfinedSpacePermitincaseof
    undergroundpiping/pipeline.
    x InsertGasPlugonbothendofexistingpiping/pipelineandsealtheedgeoftheplugwith
    propersealingmaterialproperly.
    x Connect¾”hoseoneendtotheGasPlugandotherendofhosetobeputawayinacontainer
    whichisfullwithwater.(Toavoidhazardouscondition)(ReferFigͲ2)

    Beforestartofanygrindingorweldingworkcheckpresenceofgasinsidethewallofpiping/pipeline
    aswellassurroundingareainsidethetrenchbygasdetectorinstrument(GasCheckingshallbea
    continuousprocesswhilehotworkisgoingon)
    
    (E) PRECAUTION:
    
    1. Ensurethatthecoldcuttingiscompletelydone.Ifnotuseamanualhacksawbladetocut
    fully.
    2. Donottrytoremovethecutpieceifthecutisincompleteandnotdetachedfromthe
    parentpipe.
    3. Donothammerthecutpiecetoremovefromtheparentpipesincethissortofbreakage
    maycreatesparks.
    4. Ensuretheareaisfreetomeetanyunforeseencondition.
