Vlogs became one of the most intriguing form of entertainment in our present

generation, this became the portal to another series of massive media content being
shared people to people. In broadcasting of this form of media, different contents are
being shared – from their environment up to the others’ perspective. Topics in vlogs
differ based from its condition, timeline, and events in their environment.
Vlogging was started when the first vlog was posted by Adam Kontras in January 2,
2000. Youtube was created in February 24, 2005, which became the most used video
sharing platform in the Philippines. Wil Dasovich also started his first Filipino vlog
(Jeepney) in August 21, 2015. These days may not matter to you, but these became the
starting point of new evolution of sharing of media, sharing information, sharing their
lives, sharing their experiences, and sharing this in a form of art.
The nature of creating vlogs started by capturing videos about their road trips and
fashion influencing. In the starting line, the rate of creating and posting of vlogs became
infrequent due to insufficient access to technology. Digital camera is one of the main
tools being used for vlog production. Digicams were too expensive to be bought in that
time, this became the reason for low rate of vlog production.
Television is a tool that became the main producer of entertainment from way back
2000s, this was the opportunity to create and spread digital media in our society. Tele-
broadcasting became the pioneer in media broadcasting, which is an art formed from
the combination of different mediums.
Compared to different art forms, vlogs did not start with an ample number of audience.
Its access were sparse because of its lacking number of technology. Painting and
photography were also the existing trend in visual art, but music became the main trend
in entertaining, expressing, entertaining, and expressing in the form of art.
Technology became more adequate to people since years have passed, digital
audience population is rising until now. Youtube, an online video-sharing platform,
which is dominated of millions of vloggers around the globe, has reached 2 billion
viewers. In the Philippines, vlogging became the second most viewed category in
Youtube, next to news streaming. ‘
Today, most of the people are exposed to the internet, and also exposed to a massive
number of vlogs in the world-wide web. Everyone can create their own vlog in many
ways, whether you are old or young, no matter what you are.
