Planning checklist for final

magazine covers
Location
For the first cover about
mental health I want to
find a window where the
sun would reflect on the
window so that the trees
and sunlight outside of the
window will be visible in
the photo to represent
outside the window as a
desirable place.
For the second cover about
the young musician I want
to find a plain background
to match a studio for a
professional looking
portrait image.
Model casting
For the first cover I need a
young person that would
fit with the featured article
and who would also be
relatable towards the
young audience reading
the cover. My twin sister
would be perfect to convey
the message in the story.
For the second cover I
would like to keep the
models within the target
audience again so that it is
more likely someone
within the target audience
would want to read or buy
it, or even go onto the
website.
Props and costumes
For a story about mental
health I feel props and
costumes are unnecessary
as I believe they won't be
able to ensure the message
of the cover is given to the
readers.
For the second cover I will
need some sort of musical
instrument to to help
present the message to
consumers thinking about
buying the product.
Equipment needed
For the front covers of my
magazines I will be taking
photos with a nikon digital
camera with an AF-S
NIKKOR 35mm lense.
For the video which will go
on my website I will be
using the same camera to
film it and will also use a
3.5mm mini stereo mic
which will be attach to the
camera
Model release form
For the second cover I will
my model will be holding a
guitar and laptop to reinact
a live stream.
For the video for my
website I will also need a
tripod to hold up the
camera so that the footage
is as a high quality as it can
as well as it aso ensure the
audience can see a steady
view of the model I am
interviewing.
