Some argue that it is the responsibility of the parents to teach children about

healthy eating habits, whereas others believe that teachers should be responsible
for teaching their students how to eat healthily.
Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

It is often argued that parents should be held accountable for teaching their
children about maintaining a healthy diet. On the contrary, some argue that
teachers must tell their pupils about consuming healthy food. This essay will first
discuss how parents can encourage their children to opt for a healthy diet by
setting their own example, and later explain the role, teachers can play in
educating students about the advantages of healthy eating habits.

To begin with, parents can encourage their children to develop healthy food
practices by setting their own example. The process of learning for children begins
at home, because children spend most of their time at home. Moreover, if parents
eat healthy foods the children will eventually get habitual of eating right and
clean. Hence, parents can play a key role in inculcating healthy food choices in
their children. For instance, a child whose parents avoid junk food and prefer
eating healthier will have their impact on their children.
Secondly, teachers can also play a vital role in educating students about the
benefits of healthy eating habits. Teachers can explain all the advantages and
disadvantages associated with eating habits, to encourage children to make healthy
food choices. Different informational activities can be arranged by teachers to
create awareness in children regarding bad food choices. To illustrate, many
schools in japan encourage and prompt healthy eating by providing healthy lunch to
students, whereas in west schools there are no regulations about healthy lunches at
a school. The part of teachers in develping students eating habits has its own
significance.
to conclude, parents can encourage their children to eat healthy by setting out
their own example, while teachers can educate them about the advantages and
disadvantages associated with their eating choices. In my opinion, parents are more
accountable for teaching their children about healthy food, because children spend
most of their time at home.
