Hello Hannah,

We are staying in a beach hut and enjoying the sun and masala chai!
I hope you’ve had a pleasant trip home.
We were very busy sorting out visas and passports at the last minute and I wanted to let you know that
of course it’s fine to leave the piano where it is. I probably exaggerated the difficulty of moving it
though. Erica's old laptop is inside the seat of the piano in a case. 

We found that we had to wash all the bedding including the mattress covers and protector, I hope they
are dry in time for your jet lag recuperation. We put them over the radiators indoors because they
would never dry in the conservatory without constant central heating. Also I removed the battery from
the smoke detector as it went off at a mere hint of toast. It’s lying on top of the sitting room door frame
next to the alarm. 

While we were away for much of December I had left various small windows open to prevent the mold
as suggested by you dad, but on our return after xmas I was told by the neighbor xxxxxxx, that he had
closed them all to prevent what he considered a security risk. 

Your post is either in the kitchen or in the bureau.

I’m looking forward to meeting you and making some music together when we come back to Brighton.
