Dole Team,

I wanted to take a moment and connect with you regarding the latest updates related to Dole’s
responses to Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The health and wellness of employees remains top priority. The preventative protocols we outlined in
the memo posted on the portal on March 9—hand washing, environmental hygiene, avoiding personal
contact, social distancing, etc.—remains best practices. World Health Organization recommended
protective measures can be found here.

As many businesses temporarily close non-essential operations, as a supplier of healthy food, Dole is in a
unique position during this crisis. People need food and it is incumbent upon us to keep supply chains
open and keep produce shelves full. We are working hard to keep all Dole's fresh produce supply chain
and production facilities open and operational.

In addition, Dole leadership has been working on updating corporate guidance regarding employee
action plans, remote work, etc. Understanding that every Dole business and environment possesses
unique circumstances, it is expected that each Dole divisions will adapt and apply the global guidance
locally. Please work with your divisional management on how this will be implemented in your business.

This situation is changing by the day and is very fluid, so we ask for your patience and understanding as
we all work through this unprecedented situation.

Thank you and please stay safe.
