In Lithuanian, a [b] which occurs before [d g z…] (see table 13, position 3) can
be linked with the similar [p] found before [t k s…] and word-finally (table 13,
positions 4 and 5); likewise, [d] can be linked with [t], [g] with [k], etc., in these
positions.
