Google Map View

ViewAir NMS is integrated with Google maps, allowing the operator to locate the
radios on the map, view the deployment topology and installation and calculate
wireless link parameters.
Map Options:
• save coordinates of all radio units
• Reload locations – undo unsaved changes
• Select the desired map view
• Display the coordinates
of the mouse cursor
• Display the actual throughput
per link

Alarms

ViewAir NMS constantly monitors WipAir radios and displays radios alarms and
notifications. In addition, the NMS manages alarm notification via email or Twitter
and includes alarms filters and history. The alarms are color coded, according to the
severity levels:
• Critical (Red) – unit status changed from online to offline
• Warning (Orange) – indicating unit reset (reset reason can be viewed in the radio’s
WEB interface, logger tab)
• Notification (Green) - unit status changed from offline to online
ViewAir NMS

Alarms

• Alarm ID - Sequence number that specifies the serial number of the alarm
• Unit name - The name of the radio that issued the alarm
• Unit IP - The IP of the radio that issued the alarm
• Alarm severity - Severity level (critical / warning / notification)
• Alarm type - Alarm textual description
• Alarm Sequence - A sequence number that specifies the serial number of
the alarm for all alarms that were recorded in the same radio
• Alarm time - Timestamp of the alarm
ViewAir NMS

• Clear the view of alarms. Alarms are kept in the data base
• Get the last 1000 alarms from the data base
• Save the alarm data to .csv file (excel file)
• Delete alarm history from the database
• Configure:
• Bip for each alarm
• Throughput utilization threshold for “utilization alarm” warning in
order to identify network’s bottlenecks
