revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy
Philippians 2:3 “Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with
humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves.”

1. Do you like taking selfies? Why? When is it a good thing or a bad thing?
2. In 2 Timothy 3:1-2, what does it mean that people will be “lovers of self”?
3. In what ways are people becoming “lovers of self” these days? Why?
4. According to Philippians 2:3, how can we change from being “lovers of
self” to being a blessing to others?
Conviction:
I will fix my eyes on God and love others unselfishly to bring glory to Him.
Application:
Are you a lover of self? Think of ways how you can bless and be a good
witness for Christ to your family, friends, and co-workers this week.
Pray Together:
Dear Lord, thank you for loving us sacrificially. Overflow us with Your love
so that we can love others as You have loved us. Rid us of self-centeredness
and empower us to be a blessing to the people around us. In Jesus’ Name
