Blissful Day!

This year, the Department of Health – Cagayan Valley Center for Health Development will
conduct an activity called “Usapang Pangkaisipan, Depresyon ay Tugunan”. The activity aims to
raise awareness among people about the emergence of Depression; its symptoms, cause and
preventive measures. The activity will also be used as an avenue for people who suffer from
mental illness to share their experiences and to open up about their struggles in dealing with it.
Furthermore, there will also be a healthy and informative discussion with regards to the
misconceptions about Depression. In this sense, together we can all take steps to improve our
own mental health, and build our resilience – our ability to cope with adversity.

In view hereof, may we kindly invite your respective student who won the creative spoken poetry
contest during the Mental Health Summit last October 2018 to showcase once again his/her
talent which can give highlights of the above activity. The activity will be held on July 30, 2019;
8:00 am at Japi Hotel, Cauayan City, Isabela.
