ACTIVITY DESIGN

IDENTIFYING INFORMATION:
Sector : PARK AND PLAZA MANAGEMENT
Project Title : SAINT PETER GREEN PROGRAM FUNDS FOR LABOR COST

Target Location : Barangay San Agustin, Tagum City
Target Participants : City ENRO Labor Personnel
Period of Implementation : February 01, 2017 to April 30, 2017

RATIONALE:
 The San Agustin Botanical Park located at Brgy. San Agustin is one of the most promising projects of the City
Government of Tagum. This 31.4 hectares world-class eco-tourism project aimed to represent a real strategic
contribution for education, recreation, livelihood and eco-development of the city. Its unique architectural designs and
green infrastructures envisioned to provide reliability and accessibility for the enjoinment for both local and foreign
tourists.
Meanwhile, this project also offers freedom of movement of people to escape from the city’s bustling
environment and to transport goods and services to each neighboring barangays of the city. Certainly this project is really
of great help in promoting environmental conservation and preservation as well as to generate economic prosperity and
improve the living condition of the city’s upland community.
Further, this project has had earned financial support from the Saint Peter Group of Companies worth 3.8 Million
intended for the LABOR COST, planting and maintenance. However, this project cannot be materialized without the aid
of skilled workers who worked for the development of the Park charge under Saint Peter Green Program Funds.

OBJECTIVE/S OF THE ACTIVITY:


1. To maintain the Botanical Park through clearing and slashing at the park.
2. To prepare the site for massive tree planting and maintenance of the existing trees.
3. To hasten the development of San Agustin Botanical Park through manpower effort from St. Peter personnel
charged under Saint Peter Green Program Funds.

METHODOLOGIES:
1. Coordinate with the City Mayor’s and Budget Office for the approval and budget allocation.
2. Coordinate with St. Peter Group of Companies management for the funding support for this project.
3. Provide salaries enough to compensate labor personnel assigned at the park for three-months.
4. Maximize labor to expedite the development and maintenance of the said project.

BUDGETARY REQUIREMENTS: P 130, 832.83

Labor Salary: (5 Laborers x 32 days at P348.00/day) (Mar.16-April 30, 2017) =P 55,680.00


(3 Laborers x 62 days at P348.00/day) (Feb. 01- April 30, 2017) = P 64,728.00
Repair & Maintenance, Agricultural & Forestry Equipment = 10,424.83
TOTAL = P130,832.83

EXPECTED OUTPUT/S:
1. With the aid of manpower capabilities, they can be able to maintain and beautify the Botanical Park through their
eco-system scale efforts that could restore, develop and enhance the city’s upland environment.
