I. An overview :
INDEVCO, headquartered in Lebanon, is an international
manufacturing group that produces paper, plastic and corrugated
packaging for agricultural, beverage, construction, catering,
processed food, dairy, industrial, paramedical and
pharmaceutical, chemical and petrochemical, soap and detergent,
tissue and hygiene converting, tissue making and promotional
markets.

They also manufacture personal care, household and institutional


disposables for the retail and away-from-home (AFH) markets.

In addition, they manufacture converting machines, CNC


machined parts, develop automation and power distribution
solutions, as well as supply renewable energy solutions.

II. Executive summary :


In this report we discuss one of the indevco group’s companies
namely sanita . we shed light on sanita’s role towards the
individual , enviroment and society . sanita’s external as well as
internal market analysis will provide a clear image of it position
(where it stands ) as one of the leading and organized industrial
Lebanese company

They also concentrate on studying its position in the market under


strategy analysis by firstly referring to the forces of its suppliers
customers and competitors sanita’s reputation is simply sanita’s
major key success factors and other driving forces that brings the
company to having a competitive edge in the Lebanese market
which is publicized throught the ISO certificate and it’s total quality
management . revealing sanita’s distinguished business strategy
comes throught a typical SWOT analysis .

III. Introduction :
Indevco group which is a privately-owned multinational company ,
has sanita placed as one of it’s distinguished companies in
Lebanon. Since sanita’s establishment in Lebanon in 1972 it has
become a household name synonymous with quality consumer
products outstanding support of the community and commitment
to the environment .as for sanita’s confidante , namely, masterpak
, its mission is to remain the uncontested leader inflexible
packaging in the eastern Mediterranean master pack is a supplier
of quality products and service that use the latest polymer and
printing technologies and global industry exterprice to satisfy the
needs of existing and potential customer in the region .

IV. Internal analysis :


A. Mission and vision

1. Supporting the national economy

 Availing employment vacancies to the largest


number of Lebanese people

 Developing a local national industry and directing


consumers towards Lebanese products

2. Addressing social and cultural needs

 Developping sanita products to meet the existing


and changing needs of consumer

 Launching and sponsoring environmental , social


and cultural activities which contribute to the
welfare and health of Lebanese people

production parameter

A) Strengths:

sanita to regularly chevck the various properties of
the products and govern all manufacturing
processes.

 Sanita creates jobs , stimulate industrial


development and strengthens the national economy

 Sanita works to gain the trust and the satisfaction of


its clientele .

B) Weaknesses :
 Sanita is a big organization ; it follows a certain bureaucracy
in decision making

 A tedios and long process makes the achievement of


sanita’s goal take a longer time and leads to delays in the
production process this weaknesses is justified to the size of
the organization in accordance to the sizes of other small
industries

C) Opportunities :
 Improved buyer-supplier relationships
(MASTERPACK)

 Humanitarian causes : sanita provides wide scale


support for social welfare , by providing sanita
products free of charge

international non profit community based
organizations

 Conferences and exhibitions : sanita sponsors region


united nations conferences devoted to industrial
topics ,local exhibitions related to its core business
activities and events for children , scouts , and sports

D) Threats :
 Intense competition (Mimosa,Fine,Klinex ,……)

 Lebanese economy is becoming worse and worse


(more taxes )

 The Lebanese people with this bad economy will


have less income therefore people will try to buy
cheaper products (competitor product)

 Masterpack is sanita’s only supplier and masterpack


has no competition in Lebanon therefore the

 bargaining power of the supplier is very high


suppliers can set their own prices

 Threats of new enfants ( new companies that are


willing to provide good quality products like sanita
does

Recommendations :
 I believe that sanita should give more importance to its
marketing department . marketing is very important because
it reminds the customers about the product . if they don’t
remind the customer about the product they tend to forget it
and to switch to a brand that is being advertised .

 Brand loyalty will compensate a bit but it’s not enough I


suggest that sanita sets a meeting with professional
advertisement agencies and build a complete advertisement
campaign including television and radio and bill broad in
order to afford this
