Topic: The adjective- comparative degrees
Lesson aims:
1. By the end of the lesson the students should be able to solve all the exercises using the
comparaison of adjectives;
2. They will be able to deal with the comparative and the superlative of adjectives in
sentences of their own

3. to practice the revised vocabulary.

Competences and learning outcomes:


-develop the students ability to use language in real life situations;
-solve the exercices correctly;
-compare two/three things or person;
-employ correctly the grammar topic;
-exchange information using the grammar structures under discussion;

Activity I: (5 minutes)

Procedure: Organising the class, checking the homework from WhatsApp - group.
In groups of four, students will have 3 minutes to decide whose message was the one they like
best

Indicators:

-They share their previous knowledge about the subject.

Activity II: (15 minutes)

Procedure:
The teacher brings in the classroom a flipchart sheet, where are written adjectives in the positive
form.
Students are asked to say and look for the card, on which are written the comparative and
superlative form, and stick it in the right column.
The teacher asks students to write the chart into their copybooks.

Activity III: (12 minutes)

Procedure: The teacher gives to the students Worksheet 1, and asks them to make up sentences
using the information in the chart.

Activity IV: (16minutes)


Procedure:
The teacher gives Worksheet 2 to the students and asks them to fill in with the suitable form of
the adjectives.
Students perform the task.
When they have finished the task, teacher asks one student at a time to read a sentence.

Indicators:
They will read the information chart in English.
They will elicit for the proper adjectives to suit the context.

Give the superlative form of the following adjectives: crazy, incredible, old and
professional.
