to borrowers. The name bank comes from the Italian word “banco”, used by bankers in Florence. But
the Albanian banking system is a generally new framework and has been growing for the last 10 years.

2. BKT is involved in many projects related to environment, community and social responsibility, in order
to contribute to the society, as well as to create values for the country, by offering quality products and

strengthened its market position and introduced new products and services to its customers. The bank
achieved great profit and closed the year with EUR 6.11 million in net profit. Total deposits increased by
16%, reaching EUR 351 million, while total loans amounted to EUR 248 million, an increase of 17%. The
Net Profit in 2018 was EUR 4.37 million and in 2019 it was EUR 6.11 million. So, we have an increase by
EUR 1.74 million. The Revenue in the second quarter of 2020 was, $ 364 million, compared with the
revenue from the fourth quarter of 2018 that was $ 41 million.

integration between the internal functions of the institution, while internal resources are being
adapted to enable the growth of technological infrastructure

download, install, or activate any application. All transactions carried out through Mobile
Banking do not cost.

anywhere in Albania and Kosovo in 24 hours. Also, you can recharge your mobile phone,
check the balance and draw money.

have a computer.

2020 will be the year of the new projects and monetization of digital investments. this year
BKT clients will enjoy many benefits and special campaigns via digital channels.

7. The "FLEXCUBE" is also one of the world's best-selling banking programs. This system
enabled the creation of a very sophisticated database and the provision of real-time and online
information.
During 2003, implementation of a "firewall" for Internet protection was completed, as well as the
encryption of all information circulated in the network between branches and headquarters as an
important step to increase and guarantee the security of information. The Firewall's duplicate
firewall technology that supports Fire Point Checkpoint, and prevents and interferes from outside
or within the network, and undesirable information in e-mail. During this period, the network
connection system was changed, and a program for the human resources department was built,
which automated not only the preparation of borderlines and relevant reports, but was directly
linked to the “FLEXCUBE” program for the automatic transfer of salaries to BKT staff accounts.

In this regard, during 2019 the bank became member of credit guarantee fund for “Agro window“,
which reflected on the purpose to expand bank’s agribusiness portfolio. During 2019 the bank has
reached agreements with large dairy farms dealing with production of dairy products for financing their
network of suppliers (smaller farms and individual farmers). Overall, bank’s agro portfolio was increased
by 13%.
