The Islamic Republic of Iran submitted a question to the Disarmament and International Security Committee regarding establishing stability in Kosovo. It notes the increased violence since Kosovo's declaration of independence and expresses concern for Muslims' rights and safety amid daily massacres. Iran calls for temporarily allowing Serbia to govern Kosovo, supporting continued Kosovo-Serbia dialogue per UN resolutions, and international cooperation to efficiently address the crisis while avoiding provoking other countries with similar problems.
