CAMERA IS ON FLOOR LEVEL.

We see a male feet stepping towards it, coming out of the

darkness.

CAMERA GETS A CLOSE SHOT OF ROBBIE'S FACE.

ROBBIE looks up and his jaw drops in petrifaction.

CUT TO BLACK

FADE IN:

EXT. A BUSY STREET - DAY

CAMERA PANS DOWN

We see office buildings on both sides of the street. Street

itself is crowded with people and cars rushing the clock.

CAMERA ROTATES TO THE BUILDING ON THE RIGHT AND GOES THROUGH

THE WINDOW.

INT. MANAGER'S OFFICE

We see CLARK with his back to the CAMERA and ROBBIE facing
him, sitting across the desk.

CAMERA SLOWLY SLIDES IN AND ROTATES PAST THEM TO GET A SIDE

SHOT OF BOTH MANAGER AND ROBBIE.

CLARK
Are you sure about this?

ROBBIE
Yes, I am. I can't afford myself to
race anymore.

CLARK
But snowboarding is your life,
Robbie. How can you quit now?
You're this close to winning a gold
medal.

CLARK shows a small gap with his thumb and index finger.

ROBBIE

Robbie pauses for a moment and takes a deep breath, lowering

his head.

CAMERA FACES CLARK FROM BEHIND ROBBIE'S SHOULDER.

CLARK
I completely get your situation but
this is not a reason to give up.

CLOSE SHOT ON ROBBIE.

Robbie lifts his head with a confused look on his face that
tries to evolve to rage but he keeps in control of his
emotions.

ROBBIE
Not a reason to give up? I'm not
giving up, Clark. I want to spend
the three months left of my
father's life with him.

CLARK
I get it Robbie. I get it. But
think about it. We're all going to
die sooner or later. This is what I
mean when I say it's not a reason
to quit now. Your father is going
to die anyways.

Robbie loses it and starts shouting.

Robbie gets up and leaves the office. Clark tries to stop

him by talking but doesn't get up from his chair.

CAMERA SLIDES BACKWARDS SHOWING ROBBIE'S ANGRY EXPRESSION

AND CLARK IS VISIBLE BEHIND HIM.

CLARK
Come on, Robbie! Think about it!

Robbie opens the door of the office and lifts his middle
finger next to his head without turning around.

INT. ROBBIE'S CAR - A BIT LATER

CAMERA IS STATIC INSIDE THE CAR WITH A CLOSE SHOT ON ROBBIE.

Robbie drives to his home and mumbles to himself.

ROBBIE
This isn't a reason to quit... Fuck
you, Clark. Fuck you.

CAMERA SWITCHES ON THE BACK SEAT.

A vehicle cuts his road and Robbie is forced to jump on the

brakes, so he doesn't hit the car.

ROBBIE
Hey! What the fuck are you doing
asshole?!

The driver who almost killed them both doesn't even stop, so
Robbie just drives off again. His phone rings and he picks
up.

ROBBIE
Hey, Steve! What's up?

STEVE
(hushed on the phone)
Hi, bro. Can you come pick me up
from school?

ROBBIE
Sure, kid. Give me some time
because the traffic is awful.

STEVE
(hushed on the phone)
Sure. See you.

STEVE hangs up and Robbie puts his phone on the passenger

seat next to him.

CUT TO:

EXT. STEVE'S SCHOOL

CAMERA SHOWS STEVE FROM THE SIDE WITH THE WALK PATH AND
STREET VISIBLE.

Steve is lying against the wall with his left foot up on it.
Robbie arrives with his car. Steve pushes himself from the
wall and goes to the car.

CAMERA SLIDES FORWARD AND SIDEWAYS TO POSITION ITSELF IN

FRONT OF THE CAR, CLEARLY SHOWING BOTH SEATS.

Steve gets inside the car.

ROBBIE
Hey! How was your day at school,
kid?

STEVE
Dude, stop calling me kid.

Steve makes an aggravated expression and Robbie giggles.

ROBBIE
Alright, 18 year old man. How was
your day at the educational
institution you attend daily?

STEVE
Now you're being snobbish. It was
like always - boring. You driving
or we're going to stay here and

ROBBIE

Robbie laughs and drives off.

CAMERA PANS AROUND FOLLOWING THE CAR UNTIL IT MAKES A TURN

CAMERA SHOWS ROBBIE'S HOUSE AND HIS CAR PARKED IN FRONT.

We can hear WILLIAM speak inside the house.

WILLIAM

INT. INSIDE ROBBIE'S HOUSE

CAMERA SLIDES FORWARD FOLLOWING ROBBIE AND STEVE.

Robbie and Steve walk forward the hallway. Steve goes left
to the stairs and Robbie sits on the couch in the living
room.

CAMERA PANS LEFT TO SHOW STEVE IN A MEDIUM SHOT.

STEVE
I was at school, dad.

He makes a confused face and goes upstairs.

CAMERA TURNS AROUND.

We see William step slowly helping himself with a cane. He

heads to the living room.

CAMERA IS BEHIND ROBBIE'S SHOULDER.

William slowly steps towards the couch.

WILLIAM
And you? Where have you been?

ROBBIE
I... I was in Clark's office.

WILLIAM
Ah... That greedy manager of yours.
What does he want now? Bigger
percentage of your races?

William sits on the couch next to his son.

CAMERA MOVES IN FRONT OF THE COUCH, SHOWING THEM BOTH IN A

MEDIUM SHOT.

ROBBIE
No. No, dad. He doesn't want

He wants me to stay.

WILLIAM
To stay? What do you mean?

ROBBIE
I... I told him I'm not going to
work with him anymore.
WILLIAM

William gives him a critique look.

Robbie's eyes fill with tears and he lowers his head.

Robbie can't hold it and starts crying quietly, lying on his

knees. William's eyes also fill with tears but he quickly
holds them back and makes a serious expression again.

WILLIAM
Man up you little bitch! Look at

Robbie shakes his head, still lying on his knees. William

grabs him for the hair and lifts his head.

WILLIAM
I said look at me you shit! The
last thing I want you to do is ruin
your career because of me.

Robbie wipes his tears.

We're all going to die sooner or

William rises helping himself with the cane.

Robbie nods and picks his phone.

CAMERA SLIDES BACKWARDS FOLLOWING WILLIAM.

William goes out of the living room. As he steps we see

Robbie in the back talking on his phone. We can hear him for
a while.

Hello, Clark! Yes, this is Robbie.
William heads for the stairs and starts climbing them.

CAMERA SWITCHES BEHIND HIM AND FOLLOWS HIM UPSTAIRS.

CAMERA SWITCHES INSIDE THE ROOM. IT SHOWS STEVE ON HIS BED

AND THE DOOR IS ALSO VISIBLE.

William enters without knocking.

STEVE
Hey! You ever heard of knocking
before coming in?

INT. ROBBIE'S HOUSE - THE NEXT DAY

CAMERA SLIDES THROUGH THE KITCHEN.

We see Robbie serving breakfast. He puts plates with freshly

cooked eggs and bacon on the table then he puts the dirty
cutlery in the sink.

CAMERA FOLLOWS ROBBIE.

Robbie heads upstairs and goes to his brother's room. He

gets to the bed and calmly wakes him up. Steve turns in bed
and covers his head with the blanket but Robbie takes it
off.

CAMERA MOVES TO THE SIDE OF THE BED, FACING ROBBIE WHILE

STEVE IS STILL VISIBLE.

ROBBIE
Steve... Steve, get up. Breakfast
is ready.

STEVE
Ugh... Leave me alone.

ROBBIE
It's already nine in the morning,
buddy. Get up!

STEVE
It's Saturday, man! Leave me alone!

ROBBIE
I don't care what day it is. Get
up!

STEVE

CAMERA FOLLOWS ROBBIE AGAIN.

Robbie goes out of his room and goes to his father's. He

opens the door a bit and we see that the bed is empty. He
pushes the door further and we see that William is not
there.

ROBBIE
Huh... Strange.

Robbie closes the door and gets back downstairs. He enters

the kitchen and sees his father already sitting at the
table.

CAMERA SLIDES PAST ROBBIE AND GETS A SIDE SHOT OF ROBBIE AND
WILLIAM.

ROBBIE
What the... How did you get here
without making any noise?

WILLIAM
I'm an ex CIA agent, remember?

ROBBIE
Yeah, but... Why?

William giggles.

WILLIAM
I didn't sneak past you. I woke up
earlier and got out for a walk.

ROBBIE
Oh, that explains everything.

Robbie takes his seat on the table on the side of his

father.

WILLIAM
It smells good. That little fuck
still sleeping?

CAMERA MOVES FACING WILLIAM AND REVEALING THE KITCHEN'S

ENTRANCE.

STEVE
No. That little fuck got waked up
at nine on Saturday.

William turns his head to the side while Steve walks past
him.

WILLIAM
At your age I was getting up at six
every single day and exercising
before I get for breakfast.

STEVE
Yeah, yeah.

CAMERA GETS A MEDIUM SHOT AT STEVE AS HE SITS ON THE TABLE

AND STARTS STABBING HIS EGGS WITH THE FORK.

WILLIAM
After I filled my stomach with
energy stuffed eggs and bacon, I
went to do my daily routine.

Steve flips his eyes with an annoyed expression.

CAMERA GETS A CLOSE SHOT AT ROBBIE.

Robbie giggles quietly.

CLOSE SHOT AT WILLIAM.

WILLIAM
You know what my routine was? I ran
for six miles without stopping and
then I did two hundred push ups,
again without stopping.

William eats some eggs and bites from the bacon. He speaks
as he chews.

WILLIAM
And that - every single day.

CLOSE SHOT AT STEVE.

STEVE
Didn't you go to school?

He says without looking at William.

CLOSE SHOT AT WILLIAM AGAIN.

WILLIAM
I did.

DISTANT SHOT OF THE WHOLE TABLE.

Steve looks to his father.

STEVE
Well, if were attending school at
eight o'clock and got up at six,
this would make it impossible for
you to have breakfast, run for six
miles, do your push-ups, get back

Robbie gives an impressed look at his young brother and

smiles.

DISTANT SHOT ON EVERYONE.

WILLIAM

ROBBIE

family vacation.

ROBBIE

Robbie and William start laughing. Steve's face gets

completely red and he rushes to finish his breakfast.

Steve gives a thankful look at his brother and doesn't say

anything. Robbie and William continue eating.

CAMERA SLIDES FORWARD FOR A MEDIUM SHOT OF ROBBIE AND

WILLIAM FROM BEHIND STEVE'S SHOULDER.

WILLIAM
So, you've got anything in mind for
that trip?
ROBBIE
No, but I want it to be some place
with snow.

WILLIAM

They keep silent for a few moments.

I'm thinking about taking Julia and
Jackie with us.

William stops eating. He gives Robbie a confused look.

Steven also puts down his fork and looks at his brother.

WILLIAM
I understand about Jackie but

Steve continues eating and so does William.

WILLIAM

CAMERA SLIDES BACKWARDS AND GOES AROUND FOR A DISTANT SHOT

OF THE TABLE.

Everyone keeps on eating without saying anything.

EXT. ROBBIE'S HOUSE - A BIT LATER

We see Steven doing jumping jacks exercises and William is

walking around him, watching his movements closely. They are
in the backyard.

CAMERA IS ON A DISTANCE AND STARTS ON RIGHT SIDE OF STEVE.

IT ROTATES AROUND HIM UNTIL IT FACES HIM THEN STOPS AND
SLIDES FORWARD A BIT.

WILLIAM
One, two, three, fifteen. One, two,
three, sixteen. Clap your hands
behind your back not on your hips!

STEVE
How many more, dad?

WILLIAM
Keep on jumping, boy! That's just
the warm-up.

STEVE

WILLIAM
God is not here today, my son!

We see Robbie getting out of the house.

William turns around to see him.

WILLIAM
(speaks to Steve)
Don't stop.

William starts walking towards the house and Robbie walks

towards him.

CAMERA SWITCHES FROM BEHIND STEVE'S SHOULDER AND FOCUSES IN

THE DISTANCE.

Steve allows himself to slow down a bit. As the camera

focuses in the distance we see the neighbour girl (the one
that Steve dates) coming out on the terrace and watching
Steve.

CAMERA SWITCHES BACK TO FACING STEVE.

As Steve spots the girl he speeds up and even starts

counting out loud.

STEVE
One,two,three,twenty-four.
One,two,three,twenty-five. One,
two,three,twenty-six.One,two...

CAMERA QUICKLY SLIDES FORWARD TO REACH WILLIAM AND ROBBIE.

ROBBIE
I'm going out to Julia's place to
see if they want to come.

WILLIAM
Alright. Put on your seatbelt.

ROBBIE
Okay. Call me if there's something.

WILLIAM
Sure.
ROBBIE
See you later.

William lifts his hand for a bye and turns around. He sees
Steve jumping like crazy.

He spots the girl.

CAMERA GETS A QUICK MEDIUM SHOT OF THE GIRL SMILING AT STEVE

THEN GETS A CLOSE SHOT AT WILLIAM.

He smiles and speaks to himself.

That explains a lot.

CAMERA SWITCHES BEHIND WILLIAM'S SHOULDER AND REMAINS THERE.

William walks towards Steve.

WILLIAM
Stop it, boy!

Steve is too dedicated to impressing the girl that he

doesn't hear his father the first time and he has to repeat.

WILLIAM
Steven! I said stop!

Steve stops and turns his head around.

WILLIAM
Get down for push-ups!

Steve immediately drops on the ground and starts doing

push-ups just as fast as he was jumping.

WILLIAM
Slow it down.

Steve slows down a bit but not much of a difference.

CAMERA SWITCHES TO A CLOSE SHOT OF THE GIRL.

She giggles.

EXT. JULIA'S HOUSE

CAMERA DROPS DOWN FROM THE HOUSE'S ROOF FACING THE STREET.

Robbie arrives with his car and stops in front.

CAMERA SWITCHES INSIDE THE CAR WITH A CLOSE SHOT ON ROBBIE.

Robbie turns off the engine and stays for a moment, watching
the house's entrance. He takes a deep breath and goes out of
the vehicle.

CAMERA FOLLOWS HIM AS HE STEPS FORWARD AND RINGS THE BELL ON

THE DOOR.

JULIA opens the door. She is surprised and just stares at

him.

ROBBIE
Julia.

JULIA
Robbert. What... What are you doing
here?
ROBBIE
I've come to see you and Jackie. Is
she here?

As he says that, JACKIE comes out too.

JACKIE
Who is it, mom?

She steps out and sees her father.

JACKIE
Daddy!

Robbie grabs and hugs her.

ROBBIE
Hey there little princess! How are
you?

JACKIE
I'm great, daddy!

Jackie turns around to her mother while still hugging her

dad.

JACKIE
Mom, why didn't you tell me?

JULIA

ROBBIE
She didn't know too, sugar. I
wanted to surprise you.

JULIA
And you did. Please, come in.

Robbie takes a look at his daughter and kisses her on the

cheek. He puts her down and they enter the house.

CUT TO:

INT. JULIA'S HOUSE

CAMERA SLIDES BACKWARDS AS THEY STEP INSIDE AND SIT IN THE

LIVING ROOM.

JULIA
Want something to drink?

ROBBIE
Coffee, if possible.
JULIA
Sure.

Julia goes to the kitchen.

Camera rotates around the couch with a medium shot of

Robbert and his nine years old daughter.

ROBBIE
So, what have you been doing lately
little lady?

JACKIE
I'm attending a Taekwondo class.
ROBBIE
Really? Want to show me some kicks
and punches?

JACKIE
I don't want to hurt you dad.

Robbie laughs.

ROBBIE
Trust me, you won't.

JACKIE

Jackie takes a combat position and kicks Robbie in the

shoulder.

ROBBIE
Ouch! That hurt.

Robbie pretends that she hit him hard.

JACKIE
I've warned you.

ROBBIE
Now it's my turn. Come here!

He stands up from the couch and starts chasing Jackie around

the couch.

CAMERA SWITCHES TO THE KITCHEN AND FOLLOWS JULIA FROM

BEHIND.

Julia has prepared the coffee and heads for the living room.
She stops at the door and watches the chase. Robbert catches
Jackie and lifts her up, kissing her neck.

ROBBIE
Got ya!

CLOSE SHOT ON JULIA.

Julia smiles.

CAMERA SWITCHES AGAIN BEHIND HER SHOULDER.

As Robbie turns around with Jackie in hands and spots her,

she makes a serious look again and steps forward, as she
never stopped.

Now what did I tell you about
running in the house, Jackie?

JACKIE
Sorry, mom. We were just playing.

JULIA
Here's your coffee.

ROBBIE
Thanks.

Julia hands the coffee to Robbie and sits on the couch. He

follows, leaving the coffee on the table. Jackie sits
between them.

CAMERA SWITCHES FACING THEM.

JULIA
Now, tell me why you've come
without calling.

ROBBIE
Well, I'm here to offer something.

JACKIE
What?

Robbie looks to Jackie.

ROBBIE
Want to go on a snowy vacation?
JACKIE
Yeah!!

JULIA
I don't know if it's a good idea to
let her with you.

JACKIE
But why?

ROBBIE
Jackie, your mother is right.
That's why I'm offering this to
both of you.

JULIA
What? No!

JACKIE
But mom... I've never been on a
snowy vacation.

Jackie turns to her dad with excitement.

CAMERA FOLLOWS JACKIE AFTER SHE STANDS UP.

Jackie turns towards Robbie and he nods. She stands up and

leaves the living room, heads for the stairs and goes up.

CAMERA SWITCHES TO A MEDIUM SHOT AT JULIA AND ROBBIE.

JULIA
What were you thinking, Robbie?

ROBBIE
What? Why?

JULIA
You can't just come here and offer
us to go on a vacation. What if I
was living with someone else?

ROBBIE

JULIA
No, I'm not but...

ROBBIE
Then what is the problem? I was
here last month and it was just you
and Jackie. Now it's the same.

JULIA
There's no way you could know if
that changed. A month is enough for
something like this.

ROBBIE

Robbie's smile fades away. Julia sees that and worries a

bit.

JULIA
What do you mean?

ROBBIE
Nothing.

JULIA
Robbert, I know you well. What
happened?

He looks her dead in the eyes.

ROBBIE
William, my father.

JULIA
Yeah?
ROBBIE
He was diagnosed with cancer two
weeks ago. Doctors say he's got
around three months left.

Julia grabs his hand.

JULIA
Oh, Robbie... I'm sorry.

He looks down at their hands touching and she pulls her

back.

ROBBIE
I want to spend the rest of his
life with him and make sure he goes
away from this world as a happy
man. That's why I want to take him
on a vacation with his two sons and
the only granddaughter he has.

I see... But why invite me, too? He
doesn't like me. He never did.

ROBBIE
You said it. It's not a good idea
to let Jackie only with me.

Julia nods.

JULIA
Okay, I accept but keep in mind
what me and you had is long gone.

ROBBIE

We see the van rushing through the streets and stopping in

front of the bank.

CAMERA SWITCHES A BIT ABOVE THE VAN, FACING THE BANK'S

ENTRANCE.

Trevor, Mason, Wade and Steve get out of the van and rush
through the bank doors.

Camera switches inside, behind the cash desk facing the

doors.

We see Steve and Wade entering first and shooting at the

ceiling, then pointing their rifles towards everyone. The
alarm turns on.

WADE
Everybody on the fucking ground!!
This is a robbery!!

Mason steps forward with a rifle in one hand and a bag in

the other.

CAMERA BEHIND TREVOR'S SHOULDER, ATTACHED TO HIM.

Trevor is pointing the rifle to the guard.

TREVOR
On the fucking ground!! Now!!

The guard lifts his hands up and slowly gets on the ground.

TREVOR
Quicker you piece of shit!

Trevor shoots on the ground next to the guard and he speeds

up.

Take out your gun and slide it

The guard does so and Trevor picks the gun.

CAMERA SWITCHES BEHIND MASON'S SHOULDER.

Mason has reached the cash desk and throws the bag to the
lady behind it.

MASON
Unlock the safe and put all the
fucking money in the bag!! Quick!!

The lady turns around and opens a door. She and Mason step
inside where the bank's safe door is visible. The lady
starts entering a code on the locker.

EXT. RED LODGE SKI TRACK

We see Robbie and Julia helping Jackie put on her skis.

ROBBIE
Here you go. Now use the pikes and
push yourself forward and keep your
feet in a straight line.

Jackie does so and quickly manages to keep her skis in a

straight line.

JULIA
She's got a talent.

Julia pushes herself and catches up with Jackie. They go

slowly. Robbie jumps up and starts sliding with the
snowboard. He speaks as he passes by them.

ROBBIE
Watch this.

Robbie speeds up towards a ramp and jumps, doing a backflip.

JACKIE
Wow!!

JULIA
Amazing, right? That's one of the
reasons why I fell in love with
your dad.

Jackie glances at her and smiles.

INT. BANK

CAMERA IS ON A SIDE MEDIUM SHOT.

We see the lady slowly putting money and jewelry in the

large sack.

MASON
Fuck this! Get on the ground! Now!!
The lady lies on the floor and Mason starts putting money in
the bag a lot faster than her.

CAMERA SWITCHES TO THE MAIN ROOM OF THE BANK WITH A CLOSE

SHOT ON TREVOR AND THE GUARD.

Trevor is looking towards the cash desk.

TREVOR
Come on, come on! Why is he taking
so long?!

The guard takes advantage of Trevor's distraction and

reaches for a small pistol in the back of his trousers.

CAMERA SWITCHES BEHIND WADE'S SHOULDER.

Wade sees what the guard is doing and shoots him. We hear
screams from the people.

TREVOR
What the fuck man?!

WADE
He was about to shoot you. Look.

Trevor takes a look and sees the pistol in the guard's hand.

TREVOR
Thanks.

CAMERA SWITCHES TO THE BANK'S ENTRANCE, FACING THE CASH

DESK.

Mason comes out with the bag zipped.

MASON
We're done! Let's go!

CAMERA SLIDES BACKWARDS AND MOVES TO THE SIDE OF THE

WALKPATH FOLLOWING THE ROBBERS.

Trevor goes out first and points the rifle towards the
entrance as Mason, Wade and Steve get out and enter the van.
Once they're in the vehicle, Trevor lowers his gun and runs
to the van, getting behind the wheel. He starts the engine
and drives off.

CAMERA RISES UP PANNING DOWN TO THE STREET.

We see the van taking a turn left and disappearing. A few

moments later police cars arrive from the right turn and the
other side of the street, stopping in front of the bank.
Officers get out and storm into the bank.

CUT TO:

EXT. ON THE STREETS

CAMERA IS PLACED IN FRONT OF THE VAN, FACING INSIDE.

We see Trevor and Mason take off their masks. Trevor laughs
and screams in happiness.

TREVOR
We did it guys! We fucking did

WADE
(doesn't sound happy)

TREVOR
What is it Wade?
WADE
That guard...

TREVOR
Look, bud, it was me or him. You

We see Julia and Jackie standing at the end of the ski track
with their skis in hand, waiting for Robbie, who's sliding
down. He arrives and stops next to them.

Want to get back to the bungalow?

JACKIE

ROBBIE
Alright, let's go.

Robbie kneels and unlocks his snowboard from his feet. He

grabs it and they start walking.

INT. THE BUNGALOW

We see William sitting on his bed, talking on the phone.

WILLIAM
I'm happy to hear that! Red Lodge,
second bungalow. Call me if there's
some trouble.

We hear the main door slamming and Jackie shouting.

JACKIE

Grandpa! We're home!

WILLIAM

He hangs up and leaves the phone on the night stand.

William gets up from the bed and goes downstairs. He meets

skiing?

can do backflips in the air with
his board?

WILLIAM

dad is an olympic snowboarder,

We hear Robbie speak.

We see William, Julia and Jackie sitting at the kitchen

table. Robbie is just taking his seat.

JULIA
What do you want to do today, Rob?

ROBBIE
Well, I think about going to the
track again.

JACKIE
Again? Let's skip today?

ROBBIE
Why? You didn't like it?

JACKIE
I did but I want to do something
different today.

JULIA
Well, how about we go take some
photos?

ROBBIE
I'll skip. I want to go slide
again.

She folds her arms on her chest and makes a grumpy face.

ROBBIE
Come on, sweetie, don't get mad
about it. We'll do whatever you
like tomorrow.

JULIA
Yeah, honey. Let dad have fun and
we'll go take some photos.

She winks at her daughter and Jackie smiles.

CAMERA FOLLOWS ROBBIE.

We see Robbie get ready for sliding down.

Alright. Backflip and a sideflip at
one jump. You can do this Rob.

Robbie slides down and speeds up. As he reaches the ramp and
jump he does a backflip and spins for a sideflip whilst in
the air. He almost fails but manages to land on his feet.

ROBBIE
(to himself)
Yes! Let's do it again!

He takes the lift and goes up the track.

Just as he prepares to slide down again, he hears someone
arguing in the woods next to the track.

(to himself)
Hm, odd. It's too early to have
anyone here.

He slides down a bit until he reaches the trees. He hides

behind one of them as he spots three men nearby with skis.

CAMERA SWITCHES TO A SIDE SHOT OF THE THREE MEN.

We see Trevor, Wade and Mason. Trevor is pointing a gun to

Mason.

TREVOR
I'm giving you one chance to
explain, Mason.

MASON
Explain what? Why I want almost a
million dollars only for myself.

MASON
Yeah and we did it for some

chasing Robbie.

You have to escape from these men!
He manages to avoid the trees and speed up.

CAMERA SWITCHES BEHIND WADE'S SHOULDER.

Trevor slides first and tries to shoot down Robbie. Wade is

following him but starts to slow down. Trevor turns his head
to see that.

TREVOR
Come on! Don't slow down.

WADE
I'm trying!
Wade speeds up and manages to avoid a few trees but
eventually hits in one and drops unconscious on the ground.

Trevor turns around for a few seconds to see that Wade has
fallen on the ground.

TREVOR

He turns ahead again.

CAMERA SWITCHES TO TREVOR'S POV.

Trevor sees a tree in front of him and doesn't have any time
to avoid it, so he hits in it.

Trevor hits in the tree and falls to the ground, also

unconscious.

CAMERA SWITCHES TO ROBBIE AND FOLLOWS HIM.

Robbie turns around and sees that Trevor is lying on the

ground and doesn't move. He stops.

Curiosity killed the cat, Rob.

He thinks for a moment and takes off his snowboard. He grabs

it in hand and climbs back up to Trevor. Robbie sees that
Trevor bleeds from his head. He pushes him with a foot but
Trevor doesn't react.

Robbie kneels and takes off Trevor's back the sack. He opens
it and sees the money and jewelry.

ROBBIE
(to himself)
Shit.

CAMERA STAYS THERE AND JUST PANS FOLLOWING ROBBIE.

Robbie looks around, zips the bag, puts in on his back, ties
the snowboard and slides down to get out of the woods.

WILLIAM

Robbie zips the bag and goes upstairs. He sits on the bed
and slides the bag under it. Robbie grabs his head and lies
down on the bed.

CAMERA MOVES FOR A SHOT FROM ABOVE ON ROBBIE.

We see Trevor lying on the ground still unconscious. Wade

steps in and kneels to him.

CAMERA SWITCHES FOR A SIDE SHOT.

Wade shakes Trevor but he doesn't move.

Wade slaps him and Trevor opens his eyes. His first reaction
is to place a hand on his wound.

Don't you remember? We were chasing
that guy...

Trevor interrupts him and quickly stands up.

Where's the money?

WADE
He probably took it.

TREVOR

already on the ski track.

We see Trevor and Wade entering the empty warehouse with

We see Steve lying on top of Julia. They're having sex and

CAMERA SLIDES SIDEWAYS, FOLLOWING TREVOR AND WADE.

We see Trevor and Wade, with masks on their faces, sneaking

up to the bungalow. They open the kitchen window and enter.

They sneak through the kitchen and go upstairs, Wade leads

the way.

We see Robbie in his bed, wide awake. He rotates in bed,

trying thinking about the money he got. He sits on the bed
and takes out the bag. He unzips it and just stares at the
cash.

CAMERA SWITCHES BACK TO TREVOR AND WADE.

As they pass by Julia's room they hear her moaning. Wade

stops and looks at Trevor, nodding sideways to the room.

They proceed and reach Jackie's room. The carefully open the
door and enter the room, closing the door but not
completely.

CAMERA ROTATES TOWARDS ROBBIE'S ROOM.

Robbie comes out of the room and heads for the bathroom.

CAMERA BACK TO THE ROBBERS.

They hear Robbie and stop moving until he enters the

bathroom. Trevor grabs Jackie out of bed and quickly places
a towel on her face. She wakes up but shorty after falls
asleep again because of the chemicals in the towel. Trevor
grabs her in hands and move to the door. Wade places an
envelope on her bed.

CAMERA IN THE HALLWAY.

Robbie goes out of the bathroom and heads for his room.

CAMERA BACK TO TREVOR AND WADE.

They stop moving and wait.

CAMERA IN THE HALLWAY, FACING ROBBIE.

Robbie passes by Jackie's room and glances at the door but

doesn't react. He gets in his room and closes the door.

CAMERA TO THE ROBBERS.

Trevor and Wade quickly but silently get out of the room and
head downstairs.

CAMERA SWITCHES TO ROBBIE'S ROOM.

Robbie lies down on the bed again and stares at the ceiling.
Moments later his eyes open wide.

CAMERA GETS A QUICK SHOT ON JACKIE'S ROOM DOOR NOT BEING

CLOSED.

CAMERA RETURNS TO ROBBIE FOLLOWING HIM.

Robbie jumps out of the bed and quickly goes to Jackie's

room. He sees she's not there.

ROBBIE
Jackie?

He looks behind the door.

CAMERA SWITCHES TO JULIA'S ROOM.

JULIA
What was that?

STEVE
My brother is probably having a
nightmare.

CAMERA IN THE HALLWAY, FOLLOWING ROBBIE.

Robbie goes to Julia's room.

ROBBIE
Is Jackie here?

STEVE
Definitely no.

ROBBIE
Fuck!

He goes out of Julia's room and heads downstairs, checking

the living room and the kitchen.

ROBBIE
(shouting)
Jackie?!

He sees the kitchen window and storms for the bungalow door.
He opens it and sees Trevor and Wade's car driving off.

ROBBIE
Fuck!
Robbie quickly grabs his snowboard, which is leaned against
the wall next to the door. He runs to the road, ties the
board to his feet and starts chasing the car.

It's snowing and the road is covered with a bit of frozen

snow and the terrain is tilted which allows him to slide
easily.

CAMERA SWITCHES INSIDE TREVOR'S CAR.

Wade looks back and sees Robbie chasing them.

WADE
Fuck! That guy's after us.

TREVOR
Shoot him!

Trevor picks his gun and passes it to Wade. He opens the

window and sticks out of it, trying to shoot Robbie down.

CAMERA FOLLOWS ROBBIE.

He slides on zig-zag as bullets pass by him, which slows him

down.

CAMERA INSIDE THE CAR.

Shortly after, Wade stops shooting and gets back in.

WADE
I'm out of ammo.

TREVOR
Shit!!

CAMERA FOLLOWING ROBBIE.

As soon as Wade is back in the car, Robbie speeds up in a

straight line. It takes him a while but he gets a few meters
away from the car. He lowers his body even more and tries to
reach for the trunk.

CAMERA INSIDE THE CAR.

TREVOR
Hold on!

WADE
Why? Oh, shit!

CAMERA SWITCHES FOR A SHOT FROM ABOVE. (DRONE OR HELI

FOOTAGE)

We see that they have reached a turn on the road. The car is
drifting and manages to take the turn. Robbie, however, ends
up continuing in a straight line.

CAMERA FACING ROBBIE.

We see Robbie flying off a cliff with enough height to be

impossible to land safely.

CAMERA GETS A CLOSE SHOT ON ROBBIE'S FACE.

In a slow motion shot we see the fear expressed on Robbie's

face. He understands that he may not survive.

CAMERA GOES AGAIN TO A TOP VIEW.

We see Robbie falling down on the snow and rolling sideways

for a while before hitting a tree and fading unconscious.

CAMERA GETS A CLOSE SHOT OF THE HIT.

CAMERA SWITCHES BACK TO THE CAR.

Wade looks back and sees what happens with Robbie. He turns
back forward.
WADE
Oh, man! That guy's probably dead.

TREVOR
Nah! He'll be fine.

INT. THE BUNGALOW - NEXT DAY - 7 PM

CAMERA IS HAVING A VERY CLOSE SHOT ON ROBBIE'S EYES AND

SLIDES BACKWARDS TO GET A SHOT ON HIS WHOLE FACE.

Robbie opens his eyes, slowly. Almost immediately he tries

to get up.

CAMERA SWITCHES TO A SIDE SHOT.

We see William pushing Robbie back on the bed when he tries

to get up.

WILLIAM
Not so fast. You need to rest.

ROBBIE
Jackie's out there and you want me
to rest?!

Robbie gets up, slowly although he's putting all effort in

it. William stands up from the bed, as well and follows
Robbie out of the room.

CAMERA FOLLOWS WILLIAM BEHIND HIS SHOULDER.

WILLIAM
We know she's kidnapped. We found
this on her bed.

Robbie stops and turns around. William hands him the letter
that was in the envelope and Robbie starts reading it.

WILLIAM
It says you have to bring the money
to a warehouse on the other side of
the town and they'll bring Jackie
there. They want you to go alone.

ROBBIE
Tonight at eight. Okay. Where's the
bag?

Robbie heads back to the room but William stops him.

WILLIAM
It's downstairs.
They go downstairs in the living room.

CAMERA SWITCHES TO A DISTANT SHOT OF THE WHOLE ROOM.

We see Julia and Steve sitting on the couch. She's crying

quietly in his arms. On the table sits the bag with money, a
bottle of bourbon and a few empty glasses.

Robbie steps in and spills some bourbon in a glass. Steve

and Julia look up at him. He hands the glass to Julia.

ROBBIE
I'll get our girl, don't worry. I'm
sure she's alright.

Robbie lifts the bottle and drinks straight from it. Julia
drinks a bit from the glass and leaves it on the table.

Robbie turns to William.

ROBBIE
You still want to keep the money,
dad?! Huh?!

WILLIAM
I admit I was wrong. I still wonder
how did they found us.

ROBBIE
It's criminals dad! Criminals.
They'll do anything to get their
money back.

Robbie drinks again from the bottle.

ROBBIE
(shouting)
Fuck!!!

STEVE
Calm down, Rob. It'll be alright.
We bring them the money and get
Jackie back.

ROBBIE
If I only didn't take that bag this
wouldn't happen. I told myself
'Curiosity killed the cat, Rob.'
but still went there and took that
fucking bag...

WILLIAM
You can't change the past, son. But
you can change the future.
Robbie sits on the couch and grabs his head.

ROBBIE
What time is it now?!

WILLIAM
Around seven.

ROBBIE
One hour... Okay, start packing
your stuff. We get Jackie and get
out of this place... Red Lodge,
small quiet town they say...

WILLIAM
Okay. I'm going upstairs then.

STEVE
I'll come to help you.

Steve gets up and go with William.

JUMP CUT TO:

INT. THE BUNGALOW - 7:30 PM

We see Robbie hugging Julia on the couch. He looks at the TV

clock which show 7:30 PM.

ROBBIE
It's time to go. Go get dad and
Steve help you with your stuff.

JULIA
Okay. Please, bring her back
Robbert.

ROBBIE
I will.

Camera follows Robbie.

Robbie stands up and grabs the bag. He goes out, sits behind
the wheel of his car and drives off.

CUT TO:

EXT. THE WAREHOUSE

We see Robbie arriving and stopping in front of the

warehouse. He gets out of the vehicle and walks to the
entrance of the building.
ROBBIE
(to himself)
This should be it. I'm coming
little princess. Hold on.

CAMERA SWITCHES INSIDE THE WAREHOUSE.

We see Robbie entering with the bag in hand. There are

Trevor, Wade and also Steve wearing masks. Jackie is next to
Wade and he holds a gun to her head.

JACKIE
Dad!

ROBBIE
I'm here, baby. Don't worry. I've
come to get you.

Trevor points a gun at Robbie.

TREVOR
Good, you have the bag.

ROBBIE
Yes, I have it. Release my daughter
and you get your money.

TREVOR
Oh, no, no, no! Throw me the bag
and we let her go.

ROBBIE
Well, I can't trust you but I guess
I don't have a choice. I hope you
keep your word.

Robbie throws the bag and Jackie runs to him because Wade
isn't holding her. Trevor unzips the bag on the ground.
ROBBIE
I hope we never see each other
again.

Robbie turns around but Trevor quickly stands up and points

the gun at him again.

TREVOR
Stop! You think you can fuck with
us?!

ROBBIE
(to Jackie)
Get in the car.

Jackie runs to the car and Robbie turns around.

ROBBIE
What do you mean? I'm not fucking
with you.

TREVOR
Oh, really? Then what the fuck is
this?!

Trevor pulls out ordinary paper from the bag and throws it
in the air.

ROBBIE
What the...

TREVOR
Where's my fucking money you shit?!

STEVE
I took it.

Trevor looks at Steve.

TREVOR
What?! What did you say, Steve?

ROBBIE
Steve?

Steve takes off his mask.

STEVE
Hello, brother.

WADE
Brother?!

TREVOR
What the fuck?!

STEVE
It wasn't my idea, Trevor.
TREVOR
The who came up with this shit?!

WILLIAM
(from the dark behind
them)
I did.

Trevor points the gun to the darkness and looks around like
crazy.

TREVOR
Who's there?!

We hear a gun shot and Wade gets shot in the head. Steve
rushes towards Trevor but he turns towards him and pulls the
trigger. Steve gets shot in the chest. Another gunshot and
Trevor falls dead on the ground.

Robbie runs to Steve and kneels next to him.

ROBBIE
Steve!! Steve, don't leave me
brother.

STEVE
I... I'm sorry, Rob.

Steve dies in his hands.

ROBBIE
No!!

Robbie starts crying.

William steps out of the darkness. Robbie looks up and his

jaw drops in petrifaction.

ROBBIE
Dad...?

WILLIAM
I'm sorry, son. This went
completely wrong.

ROBBIE
You kidnapped Jackie?!

WILLIAM
I'm sorry... I never told you how
proud of you I am... But you never
had the money you deserved, only
fame.

Robbie remains silent with tears going down his cheeks.

WILLIAM
All I wanted to do is get you a
fortune before I go...

William puts the gun in on his head and pulls the trigger.

ROBBIE
No!!!

CAMERA RISES FOR A TOP VIEW.

Robbie rushes to his father's falling body and holds him in

hands for a while, crying. He lets him on the ground and
lowers his head to the floor, crying between the corpses of
William and Steve.
