Assistive Listening Devices Available – Thanks to a gift from Jerry and Sue Denson, 4 personal
assistive listening earphones are available for anyone with hearing difficulty. They may be picked
up from a volunteer in the tech booth any Sunday. Remember to return them after worship!

Confirmation/Affirmation of Baptism – We rejoice today as two of our 9th grade youth, Ali
Sokolowski & Ryan Young, affirm their baptism and confirm their faith in Jesus Christ. What a joy!

First Communion – We also rejoice as 7 children receive Holy Communion for the first time:
Nikol and Ryan Chew, Isabelle Dennis, J.R. Fondessy, Olivia Nation, Jake Perez, and Justin Tritinger.

Congregational Meeting Today – Don’t forget the brief congregational meeting at 10:30 a.m. to
authorize spending settlement funds to prepare our site for the widening of Rouse Road.

No Experience Necessary Study Meets Today – Join us at 10:45 a.m. in the Youth Room for No

Journey Group Meets Today – The Life Liners meet for Prayer, Bible Reading, and Fellowship

Bonhoeffer Movie @ SoJ Today – Our current sermon series was inspired by the book Life To-
gether. Join us at 6pm today to watch the powerful movie about the life of one of the saints of the
20th century, Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Pastor William will lead a discussion afterwards.

Women’s Journey Group Monday – Join us 7 p.m. tomorrow at Lori Prunyi’s to walk together

Burundi Silent Auction Talent Show Sunday – Don’t miss the Burundi benefit fund raiser
talent show / silent auction / bake sale at SoJ, next Sunday at 5pm. Want to help? See Kathy Raue.

Young Adult Camping Trip – Join SoJ’s young adults for camping at Wekiva Springs, Nov. 16-17.

New Member / Disciple Orientation Nov. 18 – To become a member / disciple at SoJ sign up
today to attend a 2-hour orientation 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18th. Lunch will be provided.

Women’s Book Club Nov. 20 – SoJ’s Book Club will discuss Left To Tell, the story of Inmacolee
Ilibagiza who survived the Rwandan Holocaust. Her story will astonish you. Her faith will leave

SoJ Quilters Monday – Quilters meet at 9:30 am tomorrow in the large classroom. Plan to go to

Harvest of Hope: THANKSGIVING – The Outreach Team will be providing Thanksgiving dinners
(turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce and gravy) for close to 200 families. Monetary donations are in-
vited thru Sunday. Thrivent Financial for Lutherans will donate $.60 for every $1 donated. Place
your donation in an envelope and write “HoH Thanksgiving” and place it in offering basket.

Cleaning Volunteers Needed – If you’re available Thursday mornings, or other times during the
week, PLEASE consider helping clean the building once or twice a month. See Bob Belk today!

Bicycle Ministry – Volunteers are needed to help repair bicycles for people in need at 10am on
the 2nd Saturday and 10 am on Wednesdays. To get involved call Will Stevenback, 407-401-1963.

Deck The Halls Volunteers Needed Nov. 28 – Dec. 2! You are invited to join the fun by
supporting the Creative Arts Studio during Deck The Halls by donating your time and your
smile. Volunteers are needed to serve as hosts/ushers, bakers, servers, attendants for children's
activities, musical performers and many more. Stop by the table across from the Welcome Center
and fill in a slot to serve sometime between Nov. 28 and Dec. 2 for this free outreach event.

Alternative Christmas Gift Idea! For the “person who has everything”, consider buying a bag
of stucco to waterproof a mud block home in Burundi in their honor! One $20 bag will cover ½ a
house. Two bags will waterproof the entire home! A card will be provided to announce the gift. This
would be a great gift for birthdays and other special occasions too! See Patti Linman.

Paid Nursery Attendant Staff Opening –SoJ is still looking to hire a part-time nursery
attendant to work Sundays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. If you, or someone you know is
interested, see Nicole Eastwood. Kathy Raue is filling in until we find someone. Thanks, Kathy!

Calling all SPLASH ZONE Parents! We are encouraging all parents to assist the Kidmo emcee
with supervision once a month. Please sign up on the bulletin board in the Zone. Thanks!

Youth Hang Time Saturday – Middle & HS Youth, come hang out next Saturday from 7-10 pm at
>>The Inlet))). Invite your friends. Come enjoy some games and activities, watch movies, eat,
bring your instruments and have a jam session or just chat with friends.

Middle School Mall Madness Nov. 18! On Sunday, Nov. 18, SoJ’s Middle School students and
friends will chase down clues in a scavenger hunt at Fashion Square Mall! Meet at SoJ at 4:30 and
bring money for dinner in the food court. We’ll return at 7:00.

Hands Full Of Bibles – Each Fall at SoJ it is our custom to provide Bibles to parents of every child
/ youth at SoJ, 1st grade and up, who do not yet have one. If you would like your son or daughter to
receive a Bible later this Fall please sign-up at the Welcome Center soon!

SoJ Hosts Cub Scout Pack – SoJ sponsors Cub Scout Pack 134 at 7 p.m. on Monday nights. Boys
6 to 11 years old interested in being a Cub Scout should contact Chuck Call @ 407-375-4548.

Children’s Choir – This group is open to kids in grade 1-5, and meets during Wednesday Night
Live from 7-8 p.m. in the large classroom. They will be singing next Sunday for both services, so if
your child is interested, they are welcome to join us this Wednesday!

Joy Singers – This adult choir is for anyone, regardless of experience! They meet Wednesdays
from 7-8 p.m. in the worship center, and sing occasionally on Sunday mornings to provide special
music or added support to the worship team.

Joyful Noise – This is the Sunday morning worship team, which prepares new music each week to
lead our congregation in worship at 9:00 and 10:45. If interested, see Phil about taking a Musical
Gifts Assessment to be a part of this group.

Drama Team – SoJ's Drama Team consists of writers and actors who are interested in utilizing
their talents in short skits to enhance the worship experience. If you would like to be involved in
the Drama Team, please contact Sandy and Doug Gaston at 407-382-4027.

Private Music Lessons – SoJ’s Creative Arts Studio has 12 instructors teaching almost every
instrument and voice. For more information or to register, pick up a flyer in the Welcome Center.
