Student Name_____________________ Reg. #_________________

In light of the list of experiments list shared with you prepare a lab report of 13 labs, while preparing
your report each lab report should comprise of Objective, little bit portion of introduction and Its
finding & conclusion. All the work should be of yourself, don’t share with others. The students who have
similarity above 65% were marked out of 7. Its weightage is absolute 20%.

List of experiments:
1. Familiarization with measurement and instrumentation lab equipment. Also study the types of layout and
draw the layout of measurement and instrumentation lab.
2. To demonstrate the application of thermistor in the measurement of temperature. Also draw graph between
temperature and resistance.
3. To demonstrate the working principle of Lux-Meter and distinguish between multiple sources based on their
light intensities at different distances.
4. To demonstrate the characteristics of LDR (light dependent resistor) photo resistor.
5. To demonstrate the working principle of tachometer. Analyse the effects of distance and environmental
conditions on the working of tachometer.
6. To demonstrate and compare the length measurement using different instruments.
7. To demonstrate and compare the measurement of temperature of various fluids using different instruments.
8. To demonstrate and compare the measurement of pressure of various fluids using dead weight and bourdon
gauges.
9. To demonstrate and compare the measurement of pressure of various fluids using U-tube and inclined
manometer.
10. To demonstrate and compare the measurement of flow rate of various fluids using Orifice and rotameter.
11. To demonstrate the working on PLC.
12. To turn on and off the DC motor automatically using PLC.
13. To control the motor speed and direction by using and without using the timer in PLC.
Note: Lab Reports should be in PDF File supported form. Late submissions would
be dealt as no submissions.
