‘Once a dream, now a reality’: What does a successful beauty queen look like to

A beauty queen is a common sight. But beauty queens with a righteous heart is a sight
worthy to be influencing from.
“You are not just a pretty face, but you have a beautiful heart that you can share to
everyone around you.” said Eloisa Jauod, a 19-year old Indian-Filipino beauty queen
and currently the 2019 Binibining Laguna who hails from San Pedro.

Since then, her heart beats a queen for it is her childhood dream. Before joining
different pageants, Eloisa narrated that her focus was only her studies, but when she
entered the world of pageantry it opened her doors of opportunities that made her
travel in various places and achieve different titles such as Binibining San Pedro 2015
Teen Edition, Miss Teen Earth Philippines 2015-4th Runner up, SPCBA’s Next Top
Model 2018, Binibining San Pedro 2018 Grand Winner, Ms. Catwalk Philippines
2018 Grand Winner, Miss Toyota Alabang 2019-1st Runner Up, and Miss Millennial
Philippines 2019- Laguna.

Entering pageant isn't just about having a beautiful face, but how you put your heart
on it. She reiterated that her favorite thing about her career is her capability to give
pride to the Province of Laguna which she has able to share her knowledge, be a role
model to all young women and pursue her advocacy about preserving culture and
heritage.

“To all the aspirants, always believe in to the beauty of your dreams. Your journey
won’t be easy, but it doesn't mean it's not worth it. Always see the beauty in
everything. Be a good epitome to everyone. Always put your heart in everything you
do because your passion is your purpose.” she smilingly said.

After she successfully clinched the most prestigious pageant in Laguna, she aims to
represent the Philippines in an international pageant in the future. Indeed, Eloisa
embody a queen with a heart. As a certain prerogative, her grit and determination to
be a role model to everyone turned her ‘dream’ into a ‘reality.’
