As the Director of College of State Accountancy (STAN), I am pleased to write this

letter of recommendation for Budi Waluyo, one of part-time faculty members at
STAN, for admission to your university’s PhD degree.

As his supervisor at STAN, I have known him since 2006. On a personal level, Budi
is a good mannered, hard-working, and responsible person. He also interacts well
with his staffs, peers and supervisors. I evaluate Budi as intelligent, dependable and
dedicated person, who always make his best effort for the best performance.

Budi has considerable work experiences in the field of governmental finance. He has
been actively involved in the transformation of Public Service Agency financial
management at the Ministry of Finance. Since 2012, he has assumed financial
management responsibility as the Head of Finance Division at STAN.

Budi is also a part-time faculty member at STAN with interest in public financial
management. He has published some papers which show his interest and ability to
conduct academic research. I believe this is an important aspect for him to be
successful in a PhD study.

I have no doubt that Budi has the necessary qualities, both intellectual and personal,
