As a future student, I have to obtain a lot of knowledge, not only in my major courses

but I have also good in English. As a non native speaker, I know that i am very weak in
English and lacking of confident when I talk in front of peoples. Family background is one of
the factor that can consider affect of my English. It is because we are not talking in English
at home. By hook or by crook, I as a second language learner should learn English even it is
very difficult for me.

To become an effective teacher, I have to change my attitude first. Attitude is like a

mirror that can reflect myself. If I always keep this lazyness attitude in the class whether not
completed my works, so I cannot overcome problems that I faced. Being a good attitude
means I should always prepared, studied a little bit of content before class started. It shows
that I interested in learning. English is not an easy as I think. If I just attend the class and not
serious in learning, I cannot passed an examination with flying colours and it is also can drag
my CGPA in my study at Institut Pendidikan Guru (IPG). So, I must change the old attitude if
I want to become an effective teacher.

Based on my experiences as a second language learner, I have to work hard to get

knowledge about English. I know that vocabulary is very important in English because it can
classify that I am a good or poor English. One of the ways that can I overcome this problem
is trying to read more dictonary and finding new words that I not used before. Hence, it can
gain more new words and knowledge

Besides, being an effective teacher, I should trying to speak in a big audiences to
