Introduction

Introduction

This system is a single patient dialysis system intended for the artificial hemodialysis of ESRD patients and
should not be used for other purposes.

This periodic replacement manual describes the required items for the maintenance of the system.
・ Make sure that maintenance is conducted by personnel who took the system maintenance lecture and
is fully versed in the system.

・ In order to keep performance and safety during the lifetime of this system and to avoid a breakdown, we
highly recommend customers to conduct a periodic preventive maintenance for this system. Especially,
concerning possible fatigue, replacement of the “periodic replacement parts” within a specified period is
recommended.

Preparation before starting the maintenance work

・ Remove the top cover and open the front panel. Then open the both sides of the side cover.
Securing enough working space is recommended for the work.
・ Periodic replacement includes such works as decomposition of parts and removal of tubes containing
liquid.
Therefore, please prepare tray and waste cloths to treat the drain from the parts and tubes.
・ Regarding specific parts, adjustment and operation check of the machine are required after periodic
replacement.
Please conduct them, consulting the Service manual.

After the work

・ Confirm if the magnetic shield of the control board is attached firmly and there’s no tools left in the
machine before closing the front cover and side covers.
・ Be sure to conduct chemical and water rinse after the replacement of parts.
