GJ SYMPHONY GUILD NOTES

Spring 2020
Editor’s Note
These are difficult times for everyone. Concerts
cancelled. Springfest and the Gala put off to
possible later date. No Lunch Bunch for a while.
Uncertainly as to when we can freely socialize.
But we can still support the Symphony in other
ways. Cathy Zippert reports that Springfest
brought in over $3,000, thanks to those who
generously asked that their reservation money
be kept rather than refunded.

The Symphony’s Jeep raffle is still a “go.” In

addition to the first prize of a Jeep Gladiator (or
$39,500 dealer credit), an Easy Motion electric
bike will be second prize. Tickets are one for
$100, three for $250 and five for $400. To buy,
go online at https://gjso.org/jeepraffle/.

Each eight-letter word in the list is hidden in a square around a central letter that is not a part of the
word itself, as shown by the shaded example in the grid. The word may start anywhere within its
“square” and go either clockwise or counterclockwise. When all the listed words are found, the central
letters spell out the name of a Symphony member.
